Middle School Weekly Update 2/16/2024

February 11-17, 2024 is Random Acts of Kindness Week..  The middle school held themed dress down days for the students and staff to find fun ways to remind everyone that it is easy to be kind.  Ironically, Tuesday was supposed to be “Kindness Shines”,  wear glitter, neon or sparkles but Mother Nature decided to provide her own sparkles and dropped a foot of snow on us to make everything outside bright white giving us an old fashioned Snow Day.  Students and staff were then encouraged to add Tuesday's theme to Wednesday and some did an awesome job of wearing both themes on the same day.

Spirit Council - The LAMS has begun the process of implementing the School Spirit Program through the PA Attorney General's Office and the Dept of Justice.  Currently we are in the planning phases with a committee that consists of students, teachers and admin staff.   A school assembly will be held for all students next week with the School Spirit Day being held on April 3.  Mrs. Strausberger will be giving a more detailed report on the program at the next board meeting.
