Summer Reading - All summer reading tests must be completed by Sept. 6th. All multiple-choice exams can be found on the PA website. Tests should be completed during Academic Labs, Transition Labs or Open Campus. Any project-based assessment, for the community read book, must be turned into your English teacher no later than Sept. 6th. If you have any questions, ask Ms. Gelinas.

FCCLA will be starting back up again! We will be having our first meeting on TODAY right after school in room 1037. New ideas and new people welcome. Please see Mrs. Grau room 1037 or Mrs. Collins room 1059 with any questions.

Auditions for Beauty and the Beast will be September 4th and 6th from 2:30-4:30! Sign up for an audition slot outside of 1143 (music room in the basement) ASAP to get your prefered time. If all the slots are filled, please add your name to the waitlist.

Trip to Japan - Interested in going to Japan during April vacation? Already signed up for the trip (yay)? We are going to have an informational meeting on September 10th at 2:30 in the auditorium. If you are interested and can't attend, make sure that you get in touch with Ms. Parkinson (in Blanchard House) for information. See you there!!!

Community Service Opportunities:

Jerry, our fantastic custodian needs your help.  After C lunch, all the cafeteria chairs need to be stacked back onto the tables.  Do you have an open campus or academic lab?  Help Jerry get the cafeteria chairs stacked.  You will receive community service hours and build upper body strength.  If interested, see Jerry at the end of C lunch.

Girl’s Varsity Soccer  played against Plymouth at home and scored 3 - 2.  The "Life of a Spartan" Pure Performance player was Kaitlin White.  She scored what would prove to be the winning goal in the girls varsity home ponder on Friday. Kaitlin finished an Adrienne Dorr deflection into the net to give the Spartans 3 goals on the day.

Girl’s Basketball - There will be an informational meeting on TODAY starting at 2:45 in the Library for any girls interested in playing Basketball in the Winter.

Attention Pembroke Academy students! It's time for auditions to join the PA Dance Team! Put your best foot, moves and smile forward on Friday, September 6th. Auditions open at 2:30pm in the gym. Judging begins at 4:00pm.
