Enrollment Projections

Enrollment forecasts shall be prepared under the direction of the Superintendent, utilizing current enrollment information supplemented with data furnished by the State Planning Office.

Accurate enrollment projections are essential for effective facilities and capital planning. Under the direction of the Superintendent or their designee, forecasts will be developed using current district data and information from the State Planning Office and other relevant sources.

Regulation for Enrollment Projections

Methods for forecasting enrollment shall consist of the following:

1.  Public facility plan projections.

2.  Periodic student census.

3.  District Principals' reports for current and projected enrollment.

4.  Review and evaluation of proposed rezoning.

5.  Review of approved building permits.

6.  Information submitted by builders and developers.

7.  Reports indicating anticipated and approved number of dwelling units resulting from submitted site plans.
