Event Date: Saturday, June 22, 2024

  1. Rules
  1. This regatta will be governed by the Rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), this NOR, and the SSC Standing Sailing Instructions. If there is a discrepancy between this NOR and the SSC Standing Sailing Instructions, the NOR shall govern.
  1. Eligibility
  1. This event is open to all yachts that meet the Northern California PHRF minimum requirements, and have a NC PHRF, or Stockton Sailing Club PHRF rating. In the event that identical boats rate differently under the two rating systems, the Stockton Sailing Club ratings will apply.
  2. This event is open to Stockton Sailing Club member yachts crewed by one individual.
  1. Entries
  1. The entry fee is $10. Register online on the Regatta Network event site: https://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registration_form.php?regatta_id=28376
  2. Or, register on race day using the signup sheet in the clubhouse.
  1. Schedule

1100        Skippers Meeting/Late Registration

  1. Starting signals will be made in accordance with Racing Rules of Sailing Rule 26.

  1. The course and marks will be announced at the skippers meeting.

  1. The event format and scoring method will be announced at the Skippers Meeting:
  1. Handicap divisions may be scored PHRF Time on Time.
  1. Awards

Awards will be presented to each division on the following basis: One to three yachts registered: first place only; Four to six yachts registered: first and second place; More than six yachts registered; first through third place.

  1. Communications

Notices on race day will be posted on the notice board/window left of the main clubhouse entrance facing the harbor no later than 30 minutes before the first warning signal.

  1. Disclaimer of Liability

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule RRS 3, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
