Overview & Intention

One Day Wednesday Wines is a trading name of MIFB Limited (Registered Company No. 09778118).

We offer curated subscription boxes specialising in natural, organic and biodynamic (all within accepted definitions) wines which we source from specialist merchants or in some circumstances directly from wine makers. We also offer one-off boxes and on occasion, single bottles.

We also create content for you to understand and enjoy the wines with your friends and family.

We believe in transparent pricing, so we will make the price we pay for the wine clear to you with each subscription as well as our additional charge for our services.

Your Statutory Rights

These terms and conditions offer you additional protection and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Alcohol and the Law 

We are unable to sell alcoholic drinks for consumption by anyone under the age of 18 as per UK law.

If you place an order with One Day Wednesday Wines you confirm that you are 18 years old or over. You additionally confirm that you will not provide alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 for consumption.


Each subscription is billed and payable monthly plus our charge for curation and content, plus delivery. Subscriptions will continue indefinitely until cancelled, although intermittent reviews will be undertaken with or without the customer.

At the time of ordering your subscription, payment for the first month should be made as invoiced. One Day Wednesday uses PayPal to process our payments, which you can use whether you have an account or not. Each subsequent month will be charged to the same payment method on the 15th of every month unless we are told otherwise. A new invoice will be issued each month.

For non-subscription orders payment is due immediately or as shown on our invoice.

All goods remain the property of One Day Wednesday or our partner merchant, until fill payment of invoice price has been received.


We may use a substitute item to complete your order should an item you ordered be out of stock.

If this is going to occur, a member of our team will try to make contact with you via the means you have indicated on our order form to discuss the options.

In the absence of any instructions from you, an appropriate substitute will be made which we will endeavour to ensure is of equal or greater value as the item originally ordered.


Delivery is almost always arranged by our partner merchants who may either use their own vehicles or couriers.

The delivery charge, if any, will be made clear to you when you make your order and will show on your invoice.

We will aim to arrange for your subscription to be delivered on or around the 1st working day of each month. Non-subscription orders will be dispatched as soon as possible, which under usual circumstances is within 1-2 business days.

If you have not placed your order by the order deadline it will not be included in the delivery run.

If you can let us know what to do with your delivery if you are out that is always helpful. This information can then be passed to the merchant and/or their courier. We always advise not asking for your delivery to be left in the wheelie bin however. Unless you tell us otherwise we will ask the delivery company to post a card through your door with instructions.

If the delivery company arrives when you are out and there is no alternative, they should leave a note through your door with instructions. In no circumstances should you ever accept a damaged or wet looking box. If this occurs please refuse to take delivery of the box and contact us immediately.

Order cut off

Subscription orders must be made and the relevant instalment paid by the 20th of each month in order to receive the next subscription box. If not your invoice will be cancelled and notification sent to the email account you provided, which was used to send the original invoice. If at that time you would like to pay and receive the subscription please let us know and we will do our best to get it out to you quickly.

Account balance

We have chosen transparent pricing so that you can see what we’re paying for the wines we provide to you and how that reflects against some retail prices of those wines.

If you have chosen, for example, the 1,000 subscription you will get £1,000 worth of wine throughout the course of the year which we will try to distribute evenly each month. This however is not always possible, but don’t be alarmed. At the end of your subscription we’ll figure out if you have positive balance and let you know.

As an example, each month you could be due wine to the value of £83, but if the wines in that month’s subscription are worth £73 in that month you have accrued a balance of £10.

At the end of the subscription we will either give you the option of a refund of the positive balance or the option to order further wine.


We try to make vintages as accurate as possible, but they may change during the year owing to stock levels and other variables. We will try to indicate which vintages are available but this won’t always be the case.

Once a vintage runs out, we and our partner merchants will begin using the next available vintage.

If you require a specific vintage please contact us in the first instance.

Damaged or Missing Items

If upon delivery any goods are missing or damaged you must report this to us within 3 days of receipt. Please open and examine cases on arrival and indicate any problems on the carrier's sheet.

Cancellation & Returns

You can cancel both your order and your entire subscription by informing us.

You can cancel your order up to 7 days after the goods are delivered. If you do so, all goods must be returned to One Day Wednesday Wines or our partner merchant, unopened and undamaged. Once the goods have been returned the sum will be refunded. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation then One Day Wednesday Wines and/or our partner merchant reserve the right to subtract the costs of collection from your refund.

An administration fee of £15 will apply if you cancel your order in transit.

You may cancel your entire subscription at any time provided that all outstanding amounts have been paid where due. This will stop the billing cycle and mean that you will receive no further wine unless you order another subscription.


Value Added Tax at the current rate is included in the price.

Data Protection

Information is held for the purpose of maintaining customer records, and One Day Wednesday Wines undertakes to discharge its duties under current legislation.

Please contact us giving full details on the matter and we will respond to you as quickly as we can.

Discount Codes

Can only be used against products that are not already discounted. Only one discount code can be applied to each order.

Vegan wines

Generally speaking all of our wines are vegan, but from time to time wine makers vary their production methods in such a way that a certain wine is no longer vegan. When this occurs and we are informed we will no longer sell it. We make every effort to ensure our merchant inform us regularly of any changes to specific vintages to ensure that wines are vegan.

If you’re unsure, before consuming the wine you should check the status of the particular vintage with us or on the internet and if a wine is not vegan and you don’t want to consume it please let us know immediately and we’ll arrange for a replacement to be sent and for yours to be returned to us.
