The Musical Bicycle Tour  (Brought to you by Lifewater.ca and the makers of the Mini GO Ride).

This is a first by golly!!

Charity ride for Lifewater.ca

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT??

This is a 25-35km bike ride that will take us through the streets, multiuse paths and bike lanes to different homes of some of our finest musicians of many genres (see musician names below).  We will ride to a musician's home, listen to a 15-20 minute concert, eat/drink some snacks or apps and liquid refreshments, visit a bit with the musician and other riders, then ride to the next musician’s place to do the same thing.  At the last stop we'll do the same however we'll add a bigger set of snacks (such as pizza, sausages, etc) and also includes a musical jam with any of the musicians who played earlier and any of the cyclists that might be interested.  The rest of the riders can hang out and tap their toes and sing along.

WHERE:  Meet at Glenn Jennings place at 229 West Frederica St Apt 3A.

WHEN: Meet on Oct 14 at 11:45 am.  The event will go until approximately 7:00pm, followed by a musical jam which will  go until the last person leaves

PARKING: Park at Dave Jonasson’s place at 154 West Frederica St (but do not park against the fence).  Or you may park anywhere on the road between Dave’s place and Glenn’s place.  Dave says that parking on Saturday is free.

ROUTE:  See the itinerary below.  It will be city riding, starting and ending near the corner of Frederica and Brown Streets.  Total distance ranges from 25 to 35 kilometers.  Click the following link for a view of the map → https://goo.gl/maps/EA4NZwmvMXo

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST: $50 regular, or $25 for students, or pay what you can.  Hosts and musicians ride free. The cost will cover any of our expenses as well as snacks and beverages during the ride then pizza, etc at the last stop.  Any left over monies will be donated to Lifewater.ca.  If you want to stay later in the evening for the musical jam, you must BYOB.
