Old News

Website is updated! - After much trial and error (and calls/meets with our friends at Google), we now have the website up and running with updated information!!  Please go to www.holycrosselem.com and check it out!   We will use this as another way to keep you updated with newsletters, lunch calendars, pertinent links etc.  If you visit the website and incur any errors or feel something is missing, please contact the office by emailing main@holycrosselem.com.

Please consider linking HCE to your Kroger Plus Community Rewards.  Just log into your Kroger account settings under “Community Rewards” and choose Holy Cross Elementary School as your organization.  Our number is KM638.  If every family did this simple thing, our school would be able to receive funds for more activities for students! And who doesn’t love more fun activities?!.

Indian Hut Hours - 7:00-9:00 am & 2:00-3:30 pm (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri) & 7:00 am - 3:30 pm on Wednesdays

* Closed anytime the high school is closed.

Family Envelopes - The Connection (and any other pertinent papers/communication from the office) will be sent home on Thursdays in a large envelope.  We would like families to take out the contents and address any papers, sign and date the outside and return the envelope on Fridays (with any paperwork needed to be returned).  We hope this will alleviate some of the miscommunication caused by paperwork being left in students’ backpacks. We appreciate your cooperation in this new process!!

Middle School Service Hours - Each middle school student will be required to service the community this year. An opportunity for service hours was brought to us by a parent. The Hosea House, in Newport,  is looking for volunteers to help serve dinner and wash dishes. The hours are 3:45-5:45. There are many upcoming opportunities.
