I’m a dedicated problem solver with a passion for learning and iteration. I’m currently seeking a design position at a company that values design thinking and user research.

SKILLS

Web and mobile app design including persona and outcome generation, sketching, wireframing, group critique and ideation sessions, prototyping, and visual design. Front-end, component-driven development with HTML, (S)CSS, ES6, Git, and React.

EXPERIENCE

SkinIO         July 2016 - March 2018

As the only full-time designer at SkinIO, my primary goal was to establish and continually refine a formal design process, and build shared understanding of our product’s design across a five person team. I organized and maintained design-related documentation and facilitated design conversations and group ideation sessions.  I created wireframes, visual mock-ups, and animated prototypes; collaborated extensively with our engineers to coordinate design implementations; and developed our web application with React.

WSOL (Aurora, IL)        July 2011 - August 2015

At WSOL I worked within the creative team as a web designer and front-end developer. My key responsibilities included designing and developing wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mobile-optimized — or fully responsive — sites and internal tools for clients including Fortune 500 companies and prestigious universities. I also had the opportunity to lead a major website redesign project for the city of Naperville, Illinois.

Freelance        2008 - Present

I’ve designed and developed numerous websites, email campaigns, and print materials for a broad range of clients, including small businesses and charity organizations.
