This page is used to inform Walkietooth users regarding our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our app.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our app, the app collects anonymous information about the app’s usage, such as: which mode the user uses to connect (audio or camera), which kind of connection is used (Bluetooth, WiFi Direct, WiFi or WiFi hotspot), crash logs. None of this information will be used to contact or identify you.

Camera usage

In Camera mode, this app enables the device’s camera and continuously records the camera’s images to send them to the chosen channel (Bluetooth, WiFi Direct, WiFi, or WiFi hotspot).

The images captured by the app are absolutely not stored, neither on the users’ devices nor sent on the Internet to be stored on a remote platform. Once captured, images are shown to the receiver user and lost forever.

Microphone usage

Both in Audio and Camera modes this app enables the device’s microphone to record the user’s speech. Each captured audio sample is sent to the receiver on the chosen channel (Bluetooth, WiFi Direct, WiFi, or WiFi hotspot).

The samples captured by the app are absolutely not stored, neither on the users’ devices nor sent on the Internet to be stored on a remote platform. Once captured, samples are played back on the receiver’s device and lost forever.
