This list is intended to provide a general idea of past scholarships available to students. Please note, not all scholarships are available every year. It is strongly encouraged that you check your student email, as notifications are sent out as scholarships become available.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship
The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. Your submissions must be sent to us by email at: email@example.com
Topic: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.
ACTE Student Trophy Design Contest
The contest is open to secondary, postsecondary and adult CTE students in 3D design courses or other CAD courses. Students may enter as individuals or as teams of no more than two (2) people – please note, only submit one application per team. All team members must be enrolled as students in an educational institution during the semester/term in which they contribute to the design. Each entry must be entirely the original work of the persons identified in the entry. The contest is not open to any persons employed, past or present, as a professional in 3D printing.
AES Engineers Scholarship
Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational facility. Full information available on website.
Air Conditioning Association of New England Scholarship
The ACA/NE scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students who have decided to pursue an educational path and career in the HVAC industry. The scholarship may be used at any accredited university, college, technical, or post-secondary vocational school. ACA/NE scholarships will be offered each year in the amount of $1,000.
American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship
Must be a citizen of or lawful permanent resident of the United States. Must be a student under the age of twenty (20) years and presently enrolled in a high school or junior high school on the date of the National Contest. Contestants shall be required to deliver a prepared oration in the English language, which must be the original effort of each contestant, and must require not less than eight (8) nor more than ten (10) minutes for delivery.
Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 8 Scholarship
Requires completed application and supplemental materials: transcript, SAT or ACT scores, letter of recommendation from school, letter of reference from non-relative, letter from applicant telling about self, plans for future and need for financial assistance.
Anesta H. Carey Memorial Scholarship
Open to All Towns graduating seniors who are applying for enrollment to an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
Arborjet's Taking Root Scholarship
For students planning to pursue a forestry course of study or related major (e.g. Forestry, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, Entomology, Environmental Science or other related major).
Arcadius, Emma & Robert Lemieux Scholarship
The Arcadius, Emma & Robert Lemieux Scholarship was established to assist seniors in public or private high schools in the MetroWest area who wish to continue their education beyond high school, whether in college, vocational or technical schools, but are unable to do so due to financial difficulties not of their own cause. Awards will be up to $1,000 per student.
Aspiring Fashion Professional Scholarship
The scholarship is limited to high school seniors in the US pursuing a fashion related degree program at an accredited post-secondary school or college. Fashion related fields include, but are not limited to, the following programs: Fashion Design; Fashion Merchandising; Fashion Marketing; Fashion Management; Fashion Retailing.
Aspiring Nurse Scholarship
This scholarship competition is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN/LVN, ADN, and BSN programs.
Assumption College Light the Way Scholarship
To be considered for the Light the Way Scholarship, students must apply for admission to Assumption College and complete the scholarship application by the deadline. A completed Light the Way Scholarship application includes a brief essay from the student on how they are contributing to make the world a better place, a letter of recommendation and a visual representation of their work.
AVMCJROTC Auxiliary Career/Education Scholarship
Recipient must have completed at least two school years as a cadet in the Assabet Valley MCJROTC, and be a member in their graduating year.
Berlin Lions Club Scholarship
The Berlin Lions Club shall offer two scholarship awards for the sum of $1,000.00 each for the purpose of furthering one's education or vocation. The award shall be based on secondary school achievements, community service experiences and financial need. Eligibility: Applicant must be a Berlin resident in the current graduating class and must fulfill the requirements of the application.
Berlin Teachers' Association Scholarship
Must have attended Berlin Memorial School and has made plans to continue their education at an institute for higher learning.
Berlin/Boylston Public School SEPAC Scholarship
Resident of Berlin or Boylston for at least one full school year and received special education services during that time.
Central Mass Track and Field District E Scholarship
Must have participated in Cross Country/Track and Field.
Charles Eliot II Scholarship
Open to high school seniors who are entering their first year of college and who are especially interested in pursuing an academic career in land use planning that will guide our society to a more sustainable future.
Christa McAuliffe Charter School Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a graduating senior who is an alumnus of the Christa McAuliffe Charter School, pursuing a degree beyond high school.
City of Marlborough Scholarship Fund
The recipients must be residents of the City and must apply and be accepted to a college or university of their
choice. The committee shall take into consideration each recipient's financial need, scholastic record, involvement in community work, a personal essay, as well as extracurricular school activities.
Clinton Lodge of Elks Scholarship
Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship
Have a demonstrated commitment to community service, outstanding qualities in character, integrity and leadership; be enrolled as a high school senior; Reside in a community served by Comcastand; plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the US for the entire academic year
Corridor Nine Scholastic Academic Award
Must be a resident of Westborough, Northborough, Southborough or Shrewsbury; must be pursing a post-secondary degree (i.e. Associates or Bachelor degree); awards will be granted on the basis of scholastic achievement, community and school involvement, work experience, financial need, appearance of application and the interview.
Corridor Nine Scholastic Career/Trade Award
Must be a resident of Westborough, Northborough, Southborough or Shrewsbury; must be pursuing a certificate program in their career/trade or immediately entering their career/trade following high school graduation; Awards will be granted on the basis of scholastic achievement, financial need, appearance of application, career/trade experience and the interview
CSF of Marlborough Scholarship
Variety of Scholarships are available through this one application, most of which require that you are a Marlborough resident. You must go to the website and register to access the scholarships.
Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism Scholarship
The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce DOUG FLUTIE, JR. FOUNDATION FOR AUTISM Scholarship was established to assist public or private high school seniors with an autism or autism spectrum disorder diagnosis who reside in the MetroWest area and wish to continue their education beyond high school, whether in college, vocational or technical schools. Awards will be up to $1,000.
Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship
Any high school senior who is a U.S. citizen. Application must be fully completed with all necessary paperwork, or the judges will not consider it.
Elks National Legacy Award Scholarship
High School Senior, U.S. Citizen, High Achievement, Financial Need, Community Service. Must be the child or grandchild of a living Elk. Legacy Scholarships MUST be submitted ONLINE ONLY.
Fitchburg Pilots Association Scholarship

Fortitude Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Award
In the amount of $1,000, paid in two installments, is awarded to a Black male or female high school senior. The candidate must have been accepted into an accredited institution of higher education (2 or 4 years) and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. Candidates must live, or attend school, in Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Natick, Sherborn, Sudbury, Wayland or Worcester.
Friends of Hudson Public Library Scholarship
Open to any senior student (college or career bound) who has volunteered at the Hudson Public Library or with the Friends of Hudson Public Library.
Friends of Shrewsbury Public Library Scholarship
Shrewsbury Resident planning on continuing his/her education as a full-time student towards a bachelor's or associate's degree.
GBPFLAG Elsie Frank Scholarship
Greater Boston PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of LGBTQ People) will award one student scholarship funds of $5,000 each year (up to 4 years of consecutive enrollment in total) to one graduating Massachusetts high school student who will attend a 2-or 4-year college or technical/vocational school in the 2018-2019 academic year. The award will be based solely on responses to the questions below and references. Applicants are required to submit two letters of
reference, one being from someone who can address your commitment to the LGBTQ community. Please do not include transcripts or financial information. All students are welcome and encouraged to apply: gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, aromantic, transgender, gender non-conforming, intersex, queer, questioning, or straight.
Gene Haas Foundation/QCC Scholarship
Minimum 3.0 GPA; senior in a machine technology program; accepted to QCC Manufacturing Technology for Fall
George Coleman Scholarship
Each year, the New England Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers awards scholarships to three high school graduates who will be enrolling in a NEACRAO member institution for the fall semester of that year. Each high school graduate who is selected is awarded $2,000*. Each recipient of the scholarship is selected from candidates who are recommended by New England secondary school guidance professionals.
Good Citizen Program (DAR) Scholarship
College-bound seniors demonstrating good citizenship, patriotism, dependability, service and leadership are encouraged to apply.
Greater Worcester Community Foundation Scholarship
Open to Worcester County residents.
Henry David Thoreau Foundation Scholarship
Tuition scholarship for environmental studies.
Hudson-Concord Lodge of Elks Scholarship
Open to all towns.
Hudson-Maynard VFW Scholarship
Open to Hudson and Maynard residents. Student must be the child or grandchild of a veteran.
It's My Heart New England CHD Awareness Scholarship
Applicant must first meet one of the following requirements: be diagnosed with CHD, be recipient of heart transplant or be a family member of a person diagnosed with CHD; applicant must also be a resident of one of the New England States; high school senior or enrolled college student with a 2.5 or higher GPA; be accepted full or part-time at an accredited 2 or 4-year college, university or technical school located in the U.S.
Jaworek School PTO Scholarship
The recipient must be a graduating high school senior, who attended Jaworek Elementary School and resides in Marlborough at the time of graduation, and who plans to attend an accredited college or technical school during the next term.
John F. Giarusso Memorial Scholarship
This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a senior at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School who has distinguished himself or herself through service to the school and their community.
Mabel Felton Marble Scholarship
Female student from the Town of Berlin who is planning on continuing his/her education, either at a college or vocational school.
Marc E. Lewis Youth Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who has made high school and/or community sports programs safer for and more inclusive of LGBTQ student athletes as either a role model or ally. See website for more information.

Marlborough American Legion Scholarship
Marlborough Resident planning on attending college.
Marlborough Babe Ruth Scholarship
Scholarship to be awarded to one or more graduating senior who is planning to attend a two or four year college. The student must have participated in and provided service to the Marlborough Babe Ruth organization.
Marlborough Foundation Scholarship/Avidia Bank in the name of Enio M. Cipriano
Student must submit an essay and transcript. Essay should outline financial need and extracurricular activities. Application and supporting paperwork must be mailed to the address on the application by the due date.
Marlborough Regional Community Foundation Scholarship
Hudson or Marlborough Resident.
Massachusetts AFL-CIO Scholarship
A Labor History Scholarship exam will be administered to students at Assabet in February. Students must register online by December 14th to take the exam. There is also a study guide available online. All Massachusetts high school seniors are eligible to compete for certain awards. Additionally, students with a family or personal union affiliation are eligible for awards given by their family's specific local union or central labor council.
Massachusetts Elks Vocational Scholarship
The Massachusetts Elks Vocational Scholarship Program has been established through the generosity of the Elks National Foundation so that individual students who are going to school full time in a post high school non-bachelor’s degree/vocational program. The individuals applying for this award needs to be attending a vocational/technical school, a junior college, or a community college working on a one or two year program of studies that will further his/her education culminating in an Associates Degree, diploma or certificate that is less than a bachelor’s degree. A student must plan to carry a minimum load of 12 semester credit hours each term.
Massachusetts JCI Senate Scholarship
Two $1000 grants will be given to graduating high school seniors in Massachusetts.
Massachusetts State Elks Scholarship
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree; high academic standing, character, and financial need.
Metrowest Health Foundation Scholarship
The MetroWest Health Foundation provides scholarships to students who are residents of one of the 25 towns in our MetroWest service area. Students must be accepted into an eligible nursing, medical, or clinical program at an accredited academic institution.
Minerva Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Award
In the amount of $2,000, paid in two installments, is awarded to a Black female high school senior. The candidate must have been accepted into an accredited institution of higher education (2 or 4 years) and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Candidates must live, or attend school, in Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Natick, Sherborn, Sudbury, Wayland or Worcester.
Moses Reed Tyler Scholarship
Resident of Berlin pursuing training in occupations or trades in addition to students desiring to go to college or institutions of higher learning.
High school seniors, undergraduates, high school seniors and graduates, and GED certificate holders are eligible to apply. To be considered for this scholarship, an applicant must: Be a student who is accepted to or is currently enrolled in an accredited culinary school, college or university; Have earned a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.65 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent); Have worked at least the minimum # of hours. ProStart seniors and other high school seniors must have a minimum of 250 hours, and high school graduates, undergraduates and GED certificate holders must have a minimum of 750 hours.
Murphy Insurance Agency Scholarship

National Association of Women in Construction - Boston Chapter Scholarship
Men or women who will be enrolled as degree candidates in a construction-related, construction management, architecture, civil, mechanical, structural or electrical engineering and/or a fully accredited technical or apprentice program.

New England Plumbing, Gas & Mechanical Inspectors Association Scholarship
Plumbing or HVAC student planning on working in the trade or continuing education in the trade.
Northborough Art Guild Al Howard Memorial Award
You must be a resident of Northborough, accepted into an art school and majoring in art. You must show a portfolio of 5 to 8 examples of your original art work.
Northborough Garden Club
Student must be a high school senior and resident of Northborough for at least two years, and accepted at a school of higher education in one of the following fields: Horticulture, Environmental Studies, Land Management, Conservation Management, Agriculture, Botany, Biology, Floral Design, Landscape Design, or related fields. The award shall be based on academic achievement, future choice of study, strong demonstrated activities and interest in conservation, environment, natural resources, wildlife and gardening.
Northborough High School Alumni Association Scholarship
Open to Northborough and Southborough students or students with an affiliation to a Northboro High School graduate.
Renewable, 4 year scholarships to students of financial need (low-moderate income)who display academic excellence, a desire to make a meaningful contribution to society, good character and a strong work ethic.
Pirandello Lyceum Scholarship
Applicants should be college-bound high school seniors with high academic averages, high SAT scores, involvement in extracurricular activities and financial need. Students should also have studied the Italian language, intend to study Italian in college, or wish to spend their junior year abroad in Italy.
Rebekah Assembly of Massachusetts Memorial Scholarship
Open to All Towns students.
Schoolhouse Quilters of Shrewsbury Scholarship
Open to All Towns, but preference to seniors majoring in Family & Consumer Science, Fiber Arts, Textiles, Fashion Design, or Graphic Design.
Shrewsbury Woman's Club Scholarship
Two scholarships are available, the Shrewsbury Woman's Club and the Mary C. Griffin Memorial Scholarship. Both require that you have been a resident of Shrewsbury for at least 2 years.

Resident of Hudson planning on attending college.
Southborough Garden Club Scholarship

Walter Kelleher Memorial Metrowest Chamber Educational Foundation, Inc. Scholarship
Must be a graduating senior (Hudson, Marlborough, Northborough, Southborough, Westborough) with a grade average of B or better; demonstrate a financial need (documentation such as a FAFSA will be required); with a demonstrated interest in and aptitude for an Early Childhood Education career.
Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship

Westborough Rotary Club Scholarship
Open to any student from Westborough. Must write a one-page essay on the topic, "What does the Rotary International motto 'Service Above Self' mean to you and how will you incorporate the spirit of local and international engagement into your life over the next ten years?"
