Use Excel as a Calculator #2

[On screen is the following instruction, “Use Excel to evaluate the following expressions: 20.5 x 31.26=?”. The female teacher narrates as she writes her work on screen.]
Female Teacher: We’re asked to use Excel to evaluate the following expressions, so we’re going to use to use Excel like a calculator to solve twenty and five tenths times thirty one and twenty six hundredths. So let's jump over here to excel [Opens up a blank sheet in Excel] and we are going to begin by clicking on the cell that we want our answer to show up in. And then anytime we are using an equation in excel, we type equals to begin with. [Types all everything in the same cell.] And then I put twenty point five and for multiplication we use the star symbol or asterisk, or whatever you call it. Times thirty one point two six, [Types, =20.5*31.26 in the first box in excel.] now we can hit answer. And that will give use our answer of 640.83.
