Community Rules and Regulations

Section One

Community Rules and Requirements

  1. To all rules there are reasonable limits and restrictions set by community staff.
  2. The minimum age for this community is 15 years old. Exceptions can be made for those with outstanding applications and are a minimum of 14 years of age.
  3. All registered members must have their call sign respectively. If you are playing on our server and you are not a member, you are not permitted to use a callsign prefix.
  1. The ownership team is the only group of people not required to abide by this rule.
  1. The ownership team consists of

  1. Do not make sarcastic or inflammatory remarks when responding to another player’s complaint in the server or Discord.

Section Two

Code of Conduct

  1. Disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated and punishment(s) will be administered swiftly..
  2. Role play actions that aim to offend or incite a negative reaction on the basis of race/ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality or political belief will not be tolerated.
  3. This community has a zero tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind, especially on the basis of race/ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality or political belief. You will be banned without warning if you are caught discriminating against anyone.
  4. All bans under the duration of a month are NOT ELIGIBLE for consideration for the appeal process.

Section Three

In-Game (roleplay) Rules

  1.  The following is never permitted
  1. RDM (random deathmatch
  1. Random deathmatch is when someone intentionally kills another person without a valid reason. (i.e. killing the 24/7 clerk because they didn’t give you an item for free, shooting a cop just because you’re an anarchist, killing others on sight.)
  1. VDM (vehicle deathmatch)
  1. Using a vehicle to achieve RDM.
  1. FailRP
  1. Something one would not or could not do in real life (i.e. ramping a sports car off a hill, driving 100s of MPH, initiating police pursuits/shootouts over trivial/minor infractions.)
  1. Power gaming

  1. Forcing another person into a scenario or forcing yourself into another person’s scenario and/or taking lead without their permission.
  1. Metagaming
  1. Using information that your character would not have access to. This includes but is not limited to: using your minimap to determine someone’s location in order to commit a crime against them, reacting to 911 calls as a civilian, identifying players via their overhead name, etc.
  1. Violating FearRP
  1. You must value your life as you would in real life. Do your best to instill fear in your voice and actions when your life is in danger.
  1. Violating PainRP
  1. Different people have different levels of pain tolerance. However, everyone exhibits some amount of pain detectable by others. This includes but is not limited to: crouching when hurt, moaning when shot, stabbed or severely hurt, etc.
  1. Violating NLR (new life rule)
  1. When your character is killed, you must create/use another character with a completely different background/backstory. This means you cannot join your “old crew”. Additionally, you forget all memories your previous character had.
  1. Cop-baiting
  1. Any action that intentionally provokes the police in order to evoke a response. This includes but is not limited to: interfering with scenes, speeding past police officers with knowledge of their position, doing laps around police speed traps/DUI checkpoints, etc.
  1. Supercars, monster trucks, armed and or/armored vehicles are not permitted.
  2. Bullet proof tires and armor modifications are not permitted.
  1. The use of explosives is prohibited.
  2. While playing on the server, all members must delete vehicles that they are not currently using, whether they be custom or vanilla. This can cause lag and texture loss to people.
  3.  As a registered member of Law Enforcement and Fire, you may only use vehicles of your rank and below.
  4.  You are required to follow Cooldown and Peacetime regulations.
  1. When the server status is placed into any of the following, you are not permitted to conduct any priority scenarios which includes but is not limited to armed robbery, shootings, car chases, felony resisting/fleeing, kidnapping, and any other roleplay that would involve a large police response. This does not prohibit scenarios such as fights, domestic disputes, passive suicide RP, and other low level violent offences.
  1. The server is placed in Priority in Progress when there is an active priority scene (shooting, pursuit, etc). The server is placed in Cooldown when a priority scene concludes. This consists of a ten minute timer.
  2. The server is placed in Peacetime at the discretion of police and civilian command. Usually, this means the volume of priority calls has become too high for the police to handle or there is not enough police presence in the server to handle a priority. Peacetime usually lasts from 15 minutes to an hour.

  1.  Erotic/Sexual roleplay is forbidden and is a bannable offense.
  1. Erotic Roleplay: includes but is not limited to using a nude player model, simulating/acting out sexual intercourse, masturbation, or rape.
  1. Police impersonation is not permitted unless prior approval is given by Head-Administrators Torque and Power boost modifications are not permitted.
  1. All modifications except for power boost, turbo boost, torque boost and speed boost are permitted on police vehicles.
  1.  Speed limits are as follows:
  1. Those travelling on town roads (i.e. Alhambra Dr, Niland Ave, Grapeseed Main St, etc) are limited to 35 MPH.
  2. Those travelling on inter-town roads (i.e. Joshua Rd, Route 68, etc) are limited to 55 MPH.
  3. Those travelling on US Interstates/highways (i.e. US-1, US-13, Great Ocean Highway) are limited to 75 MPH.
  4. Realistic driving speeds on off road areas is generally considered to be about 25-35 MPH. You can be stopped for speeding on dirt roads.
  1.  No terrorist roleplay.
  1. Bombing/9/11 reenactments
  2. Bomb threats

Section Four

Conclusion

The bottom line: “Treat others as you would like to be treated.”

These rules should be followed at all times by all members regardless of rank and are subject to change. Members of the staff team reserve the right to decide on punishments based on the severity of the offense a member has committed.

These rules include but are not limited to the above. Members of the staff team reserve the right to determine if an individual is in violation of a server rule not listed above.
