Time commitment: Varies within cycle. Avg 5–10 hours per week
The Fundraising Committee Co-Chairs, in partnership with Fundraising Committee members, Executive Board members, and County Committee members, are responsible for planning and executing a multi-faceted plan for raising funds to support the WCDP’s operations. Strategies include fundraising events, development of a monthly donor program, cultivation of high dollar donors, engagement with foundations, and other creative ideas.
The Co-Chair should be politically aware, passionate about Democratic values, experienced in nonprofit or political fundraising, strong in collaborative leadership, and eager to ensure WCDP’s financial future.
Committee co-chairs are members of the WCDP’s Executive Board, and are elected by WCDP’s County Committee. The Fundraising Co-Chair will be elected at the June 10, 2026 County Committee meeting and will serve until December 2026, when they are eligible for re-election.
