Abstract

And assembly hall kind of hall a large room use to public meetings of the members of an organization as a school, church.

A function halls or often found with in pubs , clubs , hotels, or restaurants some are run by fraternal organization and rented out is the part of them being a club.

Introduction

Online hall booking managements system are going to develop online

portal for searching wedding halls. This web portal is use to check the

availability of wedding hence we need not go and visit the place. The

user should have wasted his/her time and the money to search for hall.

The main objective of the online hall booking management system is to

manage the details, of payment, booking customers and hall it tracks all

the details about the booking so background behind this online portal

is that it gives the area wise listing of halls and lawns with the detailed

information of individual and also display for particular date the hall is

available or not.

Suppose you will organize a party in a hall but you have no idea about any party hall, don’t know the space of the party hall, don’t know cost and management of party hall.

So online hall booking system provides a process to know about any hall properly. In wedding session there is no chance to get booking a hall offline in easy way, so by online hall booking you can book a marriage hall and see its details immediately

System Analysis

System analysis is the process of gathering and interpreting facts, diagnosing problems and using the information to recommend improvements on the system. System analysis is a problem solving activity that requires intensive communication between the system users and system developers. System analysis or study is an important phase of any system development process. The system is studied to the minutest detail and analyzed. The system analyst plays the role of an interrogator and dwells deep into the working of the present system. The system is viewed as a whole and the inputs to the system are identified. The outputs from the organization are traced through the various processing that the inputs phase through in the organization. A detailed study of these processes must be made by various techniques like Interviews, Questionnaires etc. The data collected by these sources must be scrutinized to arrive to a conclusion. The conclusion is an understanding of how the system functions.

This system is called the existing system. Now, the existing system is subjected to close study and the problem areas are identified. The designer now functions as a problem solver and tries to sort out the difficulties that the enterprise faces. The solutions are given as a proposal. The proposal is then weighed with the existing system analytically and the best one is selected. The proposal is presented to the user for an endorsement by the user. The proposal is reviewed on user request and suitable changes are made. This loop ends as soon as the user is satisfied with the proposal.

Existing System

One of the major disadvantages of offline hall booking systems is that, for all their positives, they do come at a monetary cost – don’t believe the promises of free online booking systems.

Some charge you per transactions, while others charge a flat monthly fee, so you’ll always know how much you’re paying. Custom made offline booking platforms will charge you a hefty lump sum up front, as well as recurring costs for bug fixes and support.

Ultimately, the benefits of an offline for your business far outweigh the small monthly cost it would take to implement one, but the notion of cost is something you’re going to have to come to terms with.

Suppose you will organize a party in a hall but you have no idea about any party hall, don’t know the space of the party hall, don’t know cost management a party hall

Proposed System

The proposed online hall booking management system fulfills all the requirements for a good online hall booking with all the necessary detailing.

In order to make the site dynamic and more interactive I have tried to include a web portal  to our online hall booking .

Hence customers  can  register  their  form  easily and access their academic details. Thus the site becomes more interactive and accessible to customers.

The proposed online hall booking web portal is an effective replacement of the existing websitewith improvement  in the overall site visitors.

The online web portal contains all the information in a structured manner, by that the visitors can access the web portal easily.

                                     Scope

The online web portal is being developed for marriage hall and is intended to be used by the individuals.

In making a booking client must fill up  entry form before proceeding to the online payment.

In future user can submit his requirement of hall an it directly displayed to owner. When owner login to website it can display the user details and requirement in calendar and he can online show the confirmation of booking for particular owner.

After submitting the requirement of user, owner can receive message that he has received inquiry of user and details of user as well as user get the message that he/she want to book the hall is confirm or not.

Definition

College website is integrated web application that handles various academic and non academic activities of a college/Academic Institute. The system can access by every students/ faculties/employees of the institution through internet connected computers or internet enabled mobile devices with the aid of his user name and password. Every user will have customized home page with his/her profile management facilities through links that are displayed in the home page the user can access through the different options of the website.

                           Project  Description

The Aim of this College Website Project is to implement the website for the school, college; the purpose of this O level project is to provide the clarified information about college to the user through website and provide the information about the admission, registration, campuses to the users. This project was developed under ASP.Net & C#.Net Programming language using Visual studio and SQL Server 2005 used for storing the data.

The website created under the project is used to access information about the college. In which you can about the facility, faculty courses and sport activities of the college. With the help of these web pages you can gain information at any time and at any place. And for more information you can send email or call for accessing the details about IMS college.

Developer Responsibilities

Software System Attributes

Usability: The links are provided for each form. The user is facilitated to view andmake entries in the forms. Validations are provided in each field to avoidinconsistent or invalid entry in the databases. Some forms consists Hyper Links, which provides further details. Reports screen contains text boxes and drop down lists, so that reports can be produced.

Availability:System will be available around the clock except for the time requiredfor the backup of data.

Portability:The application is developed in ASP.NET. It would be portable to otheroperating system provided.NET Framework is available for the OS.

Acceptance Criteria:-

The software should meet the functional requirement and perform the functionalityeffectively and efficiently.

>>A user-friendly interface with proper menus.

>>Data transfer should be accurate and within a reasonable amount of time keeping in mind the network traffic.

>>The system should not allow entry of duplicate key values.

>>System should have the ability to generate transactional Logs to avoid any accidental loss of data.

Technology

ASP.NET is a web development platform, which provides a programming model, a comprehensive software infrastructure and various services required to build up robust webapplications for PC, as well as mobile devices.

ASP.NET works on top of the HTTP protocol, and uses the HTTP commands and policies

to set a browser-to-server bilateral communication and cooperation.

ASP.NET is a part of Microsoft .Net platform. ASP.NET applications are compiled codes,

written using the extensible and reusable components or objects present in .Net framework. These codes can use the entire hierarchy of classes in .Net framework.

The ASP.NET application codes can be written in any of the following languages:

C#

Visual Basic.Net

Jscript

J#

ASP.NET is used to produce interactive, data-driven web applications over the internet. Itconsists of a large number of controls such as text boxes, buttons, and labels for assembling, configuring, and manipulating code to create HTML pages.

System Design

System design is the solution to the creation of a new system. This phase is composed of several systems. This phase focuses on the detailed implementation of the feasible system. It emphasizes on translating design specifications to performance specification. System design has two phases of development logical and physical design. During logical design phase the analyst describes inputs (sources), out puts (destinations), databases (data sores) and procedures (data flows) all in a format that meats the uses requirements. The analyst also specifies the user needs and at a level that virtually determines the information flow into and out of the system and the data resources. Here the logical design is done through data flow diagrams and database design. The physical design is followed by physical design or coding. Physical design produces the working system by defining the design specifications, which tell the programmers exactly what the candidate system must do. The programmers write the necessary programs that accept input from the user, perform necessary processing on accepted data through call and produce the required report on a hard copy or display it on the screen.

Conclusion

The main goal of this website is that every student knows about its college and about all of its facilities which is very important for student that they know about the college’s facility, faculty, courses, scholarship etc.
