Drop-off & Pick-up Policy
Students should be dropped off and picked up at our main downstairs studio by an adult authorized on our online Registration Form. To add a new authorized person, please email firstname.lastname@example.org using the email address listed on your Registration Form.
Students must be signed in by an authorized adult on the first day of camp. We understand that parking in the area can sometimes be difficult, so on all other camp days (Tuesday – Thursday) students may be dropped off by our rear doors, which opens on to our back parking lot. A staff
member or volunteer will be waiting to greet children at the drop-off time listed above.
Students must be signed out by an authorized adult every day of camp. If you are unable to find parking, a volunteer or staff member may be able to walk your child to your car provided you pull up along the curb in our back parking lot. Children may not walk alone through the parking
lot or leave Art Explorium unescorted by an authorized adult.
Children should bring a light snack and a refillable water bottle each day. Please note that Art Explorium may also, on occasion, provide a snack from somewhere in the neighborhood as an extra treat. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know before the
start of camp.
Art can sometimes be messy. We suggest wearing clothes that you won’t mind getting stained or dirty. Please also note that we may be taking neighborhood walks, so covered shoes are suggested. Students should also bring 1 old t-shirt with them on the first day of class. T-shirts will be used for making aprons, so please make sure it’s one you don’t mind cutting up and repurposing.
In registering your child for Art Camp, you have authorized Art Explorium to take photographs and/or video images of your child and his/her artwork. Photos are sometimes posted to our website or social media pages and will not include names or other personal information. If you would prefer that we don’t share such images, please notify us before the start of camp.
Objects of value should be left at home. Art Explorium cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items, including toys, cell phones and other electronic devices.
