What’s the event timeline? How many days off do we need?
June 16th at 18:00 - kick-off event with a genAI innovation panel and networking
June 16th - June 26th - working on projects in your free time and meet the mentors
June 26th at 16:00 - hackathon starts, and teams meet physically to work in Microsoft Reactor
June 27th at 8:00 - teams continue to work on projects all day and finalize presentations
June 27th at 18:00 - judging and awards
One day off will be enough.
Can we sign up individually or do we need a team?
You can sign up individually at the moment, but you’ll need to assemble a team of between 3-6 team members
Does the project have to be based on LLMs?
The project has to be based on either LLMs or image generation models.
Can we join remotely?
Attendees must show up physically to the kick-off event on June 16th and on the hackathon’s main day on June 27th
During the 2 days, should the teams be focused on developing the idea, or alsocreating the presentation?
The attendees can start working on the project from the kick-off event (June 16th). The presentation is an important part and it’s advised to have a template ready from the very beginning and update it along the way so that you don’t get to the last minute with nothing to show
What if I have an existing project/product - can I still compete?
Yes, you can apply to compete. You will need to develop something new during the hackathon period that can be related/based on the existing project, and you’ll be judged on that
