Social Anxiety Worksheet for Youth

Prepare the rank order list of social situations causing anxiety for you. You may work with your facilitator/practitioner.

Design a behavioral experiment for each, starting with the one you least feared. Include all details, like maintaining eye contact, performing before a big audience, etc.

Practice them, one by one, focusing on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Gradually and mindfully.

Explore the differences in these experiences (before and after behavioral experimentation) and the changes in your thought patterns.

Discuss this activity with your mentor, practitioner, or anyone who can help you take a collaborative approach and grow step by step in your attempt to manage the distressing symptoms coming up with social anxiety.
