BAM Communications Makes Strategic Leadership Hires,
Launches New Services to Meet Growing Client Demand for PR Analytics
SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 5, 2017 - BAM Communications, a California-based communications firm, has appointed Katie Pierini as senior vice president and Lauren Grassetti as vice president at its San Diego headquarters. The agency has also launched Insights, its new suite of analytics reporting capabilities that demonstrate business impact of earned media coverage.
Pierini will oversee BAM’s growth strategy with the addition of Insights and other new services, and share responsibility for expanding the agency’s client base. Grassetti will oversee the agency’s account servicing team, managing its recruitment and training while managing several of BAM’s key accounts. Both will be based in San Diego and will report to agency founder Beck Bamberger. Pierini and Grassetti previously worked for global communications agency LEWIS.
“BAM’s approach to storytelling to help businesses compete in an increasingly digital marketplace is what drew me to the agency,” said Pierini. “I’m proud to share in the leadership of a progressive organization that is flexible to the needs of clients of all sizes.”
“Our new services and growing client roster indicate increasing industry influence, and I’m excited to join a team that both craves change and can quickly deliver on changing client needs,” said Grassetti.
BAM recently rebranded to reflect the agency’s new data-driven approach, opened a New York office, and appointed several new experienced account servicing team leaders. Its new Insights service offering clarity into the effects of awareness, lead-generation and share of voice on business is the first of many services the agency will launch in the coming months.
“Adding two senior leaders in Katie and Lauren with backgrounds in PR, agency M&A, digital media and marketing services has dramatically increased our rate of change and growth in the short time since they’ve joined,” said Beck Bamberger, BAM founder and CEO. “I look forward to seeing their experience, along with our new PR analytics capabilities, further enhance the strategic communications leadership we provide to both early- and late-stage companies.”
Since the start of the year, BAM has added several clients in healthcare and other B2B and B2C technology industries. The agency plans further geographical expansion and additional new services capabilities in the coming year.
