Scenarios that can be followed to test the CONTROL branch:
- Entering Picture-in-Picture mode:
- Open a video from any of the following websites: YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, Hulu, Amazon Prime or HBO.
- A small blue “Watch in Picture-in-Picture” button (
) will be displayed on the right edge of the video. - Clicking the “Watch in Picture-in-Picture” button will open a small window on the right-side of the screen with the video playing.
- Interaction with the Picture-in-Picture miniplayer:
- Verify that the window is closed after clicking the X button (
). - Verify that the video is paused/played after clicking the pause/play button(
/
) - Verify that the window can be moved to a different part of the screen when dragged.
- Verify that the window can be resized from the top left corner of the window.
- Verify that the video can be returned to the main browser (
).
- Regardless of the region:
- Navigate to the credit card autofill test page.
- Fill in all the fields with data (a dummy credit card can be generated using this website)
- No doorhangers are displayed after clicking the submit button.
- How to check that data cannot be entered in PDF forms:
- Open a PDF with forms (dummy PDFs can be found here: v1, v2)
- Try clicking the forms and checkboxes from the PDF.
- The fields and not editable and the checkboxes are not marked.
- Bookmarks toolbar after import:
- Make sure you have another browser installed (e.g. Google Chrome) with a few websites bookmarked.
- Open the bookmarks library (hamburger Menu > Library > Bookmarks > Show all Bookmarks)
- Click the “Import and Backup” button and select the “Import Data from Another Browser” option.
- Select the desired browser in the import wizard and make sure the bookmarks option is checked.
- The bookmarks are imported, but the bookmarks toolbar is not automatically displayed under the URL bar.

- Use the mouse middle click to open the website from the title of the bug
- A warning is displayed when opening the page.
