Reminders:
- Please register for the conference in advance, so we can create your conference badge before we see you in Dallas. This will help cut down on on-site registration time for you and our volunteers.
- Please download and start using the Whova App. We will use this to communicate throughout the UnConference, as well as during the 6 months after the UnConference - to continue connecting and collaborating in the movement to end mass incarceration.

About the Event
How do I get my conference badge?
- On site, you’ll check in at:
- Friendship-West Baptist Church between 8:00 - 8:45 am on Monday, June 24 to receive your badge.
- HERE is the link to register in advance.
- Onsite registration will be available for an increased price, and wait times may be a bit longer for that process, so please register early!
Where can I find the complete schedule?
- More information will be available in the Whova app, as well as on our conference website.
- We will also have a limited number of printed schedules provided on site during the conference.
- Session times, details, and room locations are subject to change.
Will we use the Whova app?
- Yes! We will use the app during the UnConference and for the 6 months after - to continue collaborating and connecting in the movement to end mass incarceration.
- Please download and start using the Whova app. If this is your first time using it, here is a guide.
Are there any evening events?
- Monday, June 24: the Art of Justice, 5:30-7:30 pm at Friendship-West Baptist Church
- Every movement has a soundtrack. Join us to learn more about how folks are using their art as activism in the movement to end mass incarceration, and how you can do the same! Light refreshments will be provided.
- This is an optional evening event to connect, which will also be open to the public. Check the conference website and Whova app for the latest information.

Where does the conference take place?
The conference will take place at Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.

Is parking available at the conference site?
- Yes, parking is available at each of the sites. You may also take Lyft or Uber.
- Participants will enter through Gate 3. There will be signage to direct you to the entrance.
What are the local hotel options?
We recommend the following hotels:
- 800 N Main St, Duncanville, TX 7511 (less than 10 minutes from the Un-Conference)
- Some rooms may still be available at EMI rates ($154 / night plus taxes and fees).
- To reserve a room - go to the website and:
- 1) enter your dates
- 2) select special rates and
- 3) enter the code: EBBC by the “group.”
- 1907 Elm St, Dallas, TX 75201 (about 20 mins from the Un-Conference)
- $239 USD per night, King rooms.
Will food be provided?
- Yes! A light continental, grab and go breakfast will be provided on location for all 3 conference dates, June 24 - June 26.
- Lunch will be provided on Monday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 25.
- Dinner will not be provided. For evening events, we will provide light snacks and nonalcoholic beverages.
