Notification Pursuant to HB21-1155 [§ 39-26-204.5 (1)(b), C.R.S.] — Notice from the Department of Revenue that the statutory requirements for the geographic information system described in §39-26-204.5 (1)(b) have been met.

June 2, 2025

Pursuant to section 39-26-204.5 (1)(b), C.R.S., the Department of Revenue (the “Department”) hereby notifies the Revisor that the geographic information system (the “GIS”) meets the following requirements:

• The GIS meets the defined scope of work set forth in the Department’s request for solicitation; and
• The GIS has been tested and verified by the Department to be operational, supported, and available for a retailer to use to determine the taxing jurisdiction in which an address resides.

We apologize for the delay in our notification. It appears that HB21-1155, which was a bill from the Statutory Revision Committee, was still under consideration when we sent our related notice pursuant to HB19-1240 and HB20-1023. We appreciate your office calling this oversight to our attention.
