LOUGHTON DAVIS: ABOUT FIRST WILL

By: D A Davis

Loughton`s first will was dated 13th March 1880.

Mary was prominent in that will with A.P. Davis secondary and executor.

Apparently Mary died after the first will requiring the second Will dated 5th July,1882.

Apparently the death date for Loughton Davis is wrong.

His tombstone has May 13, 1882.

Unless his last will was forged since it was dated 5th July 1882 other wise he died after the 5th of July 1882.

By: John Lynes

Mary McKenzie and Loughton Davis married in South Carolina on 9 August 1828, so the South Carolina Marriage Index 1641-1965 says.

Mary McKenzie (who married Loughton Davis) would have to be the Daughter of James A McKenzie born 1778 and died 6 Aug 1827, York, South Carolina (in order for the DNA gedmatch between Bonnie Sellers and Jerry McKenzie (A174319) to be a McKenzie match.)

NOTE:

1. Jerry McKenize is the brother-in-law of John Lynes.

2. Bonnie Sellers M570676 is also a match with Jerry McKenzie’s sister, Brenda Joyce McKenzie Lynes (A733989), wife of John Lynes.
