Elementary Center Board Updates week of Sept 11, 2023

The first week of school at our elementary school is always an exciting time. It's a chance for our dedicated teachers to review essential rules with our eager students, setting the stage for a safe and respectful learning environment. We kickstart the week with the recitation of the Brave Pledge, instilling a sense of unity and responsibility among our young learners. This year, we've introduced an improved positive behavioral system, rewarding students for their kindness, respect, and diligence. It's heartwarming to witness our students embrace these values, making our school a place where curiosity thrives and friendships flourish.

School-Wide Positive Behavior Program- BRAVE (Be Safe, Respectful, And, Very Responsible, Everyday!

Practiced School Rules in class, school grounds, bus, and cafeteria.

George’s Bus Company held bus evacuation safety drills on 9/14/23.  All students riding a bus learned the rules to follow in the event of a bus emergency.  Staff from the EC and George’s supported this effort.

PTO held their first general meeting of the school year, on Tuesday evening PTO Membership drive is currently going on..
