Uncommon Threads is an "empowerment boutique". We take an outside-in approach to boosting women's self-esteem through the power of clothes and personal styling services. Our mission is to provide domestic violence survivors and women in need with clothes that will inspire and increase self-confidence and self-worth. We offer a wide range of high-quality clothing (many new pieces) including jeans and casual-wear, interview and work clothes and even special occasion attire.

Clients must be referred by a social worker, therapist, health professional, church or other agency.  During an individual session clients will work with trained "stylists" and receive up to four complete outfits.  Stylists will be available for assistance.  We ask for a $10 donation per visit, however we are happy to waive the fee if the client is unable to pay.
