Kevin Cagle - Cathy Coats (pg2) - Photographers 2020

Kevin Cagle - This is my 3nd term as Photographer for our Chapter but have been been a HOG Member since 1994 and a Life Member almost as long and a member of numerous Chapters over the years. I first started out on Mini bikes when I was 11 or 12 years old but my first REAL motorcycle was a new 125cc Kawasaki dirt bike which was soon modified to a 175! Soon after that a 1968 250cc Harley Sprint joined my stable. After joining the Navy in 1974 I bought myself a 1976 650cc 4 Cyl Kawasaki which even went with me on board ship sometimes when we visited other ports. Thru the years I have never been without something to ride whether it was 3 Wheelers, Dirt bikes or Street bikes. A 1990 Softail Custom got me back to riding Harleys again and into HOG and I haven't looked back.

It did not take me long being a passenger with my wonderful husband that I realized it would be much more fun being an operator.  I went out and bought my own bike and got my endorsement….in that order.  I’ve been riding since 2012.  I have had a Sportster and Softail Slim.  Currently, I have a Heritage Softail and a Tri Glide.  I enjoy riding and the friendship immensely.

I joined the Southern Thunder chapter at the beginning of 2016 and have thoroughly enjoyed the friendships I have made.  We were welcomed with love at our first meeting and it’s been a wonderful journey.  I love traveling, especially on my bike and with chapter friends.

I’ve been married to James Coats for a fabulous 25 years.  We married swiftly 3 months after we met.  I have one son who is a Youth Minister in Dyersburg, TN with my wonderful daughter in law and 3 grandsons.  I have 2 precious fur babies, Blue and Harley.FullSizeRender.jpg

When I’m not playing, I am managing owner of a trucking company that hauls U.S. Mail.  I’ve been managing the company since 1993.

I am very proud of being a 2 time breast cancer survivor.  I am here today by the grace of God and the loving support of my husband.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Philippians 4:1

I am always willing to help and I if I don’t offer, don’t be afraid to ask.

If you act like you know what you’re doing, everybody will think that you do.
