Follow instructions below in order to install the template in your account correctly.
- Make a copy of the report by clicking on the copy button in the top right corner

- Hit on “Get Started” . If you are already using Google Data Studio this section will be skipped and you can skip to step X.

- Agree to terms of Data Studio and choose preferences.

- Click on the copy button again
- A pop up window should appear. Click on CREATE NEW DATA SOURCE

- Choose Google Analytics and authorize

- Select your account, property and proper view. Click connect in the top right corner. If you can’t see your Google Analytics account here it may mean that you are not logged in a Google Account that has the Analytics account attached to it. In this case relog and repeat previous points.

- Add all dimensions to the report.

- Confirm copy

- Several fields will need minor alteration as they use custom formulas or settings and will display erroneously in the begining. Enter edit mode by clicking on the button in the top right corner.
- Select the field in the middle of the first section and click on ADD A FIELD in the bottom right corner.

- Name it “Avg. Revenue per Transaction”

- Now we need to insert a formula, which will calculate our average revenue per transaction. Start typing “Revenue” and you will be able to select REVENUE from the drop down list. Select it, insert divide symbol “/” and find TRANSACTIONS metrics accordingly. Click SAVE when the formula is ready and FINISHED.

- Click on selected Page Views metric and find Avg. Revenue per Transaction from the drop down list

- The final action will be to change the number type to $. If you’re using another currency, Data Studio should recognise it according to your Google Analytics data. Click on AUT and Type, select your desired currency.

- Now, similarly to the previous step, set up the correct metric for the Avg. Revenue per Transaction chart. Select the chart and head to the panel control on the right. Click on Metric and find Avg. Revenue per Transaction. You do not need to create the field again. It’s already there. Click on the metric button in the panel on the right and find Avg. Revenue per Transaction. Then, click on AUT and select currency format of this metric.

Chart should be ready in good shape now.

- Next head on to the Funnel Metrics Chart and select Product Views to All Sessions metric. Again we will need to create a new calculated field. The same way as we did before with Avg. Revenue per Transaction. First name of the field, Product Views to Sessions and select appropriate metrics in the formula box below as shown in the example. Remember to use divide symbol “/” between the two metrics (Product Detail Views and Sessions). When finished click on SAVE in the bottom right corner and FINISH. Click on selected metric in the right panel and replace it with the newly created field. Find it in the drop down list. To change metrics format click on AUT and select type: Number > Numeric > Percent.

- Repeat the same process for the next metric below. Select % New Sessions and create a new field. Name it “Entered Checkout to Product Views” and insert the formula Entered Checkout (Goal 4 Completions) / Product Detail Views. Click SAVE and FINISHED, then replace the metric on the chart with the newly created one. Finally change metrics format to percent by clicking on AUT like in previous instances.

- Repeat the process once again for the final metric on the funnel chart. Create a new field, name it “Transactions to Entered Checkout” and use the following formula Transactions to Entered Checkout (Goal 4 Completions). Find your newly created field and replace it in the panel on the right. Finally change metrics format to percent by clicking on AUT and selecting percent from the drop down list.

- The next section that requires additional tweaking is Conversion Rates over time. Select the first chart in the top of the section. Change its metric in the panel on the right to Product Views to All Sessions. Change metric’s format to percent. Change dimension from Date “(Date)” to “Date”. This should result in seeing days in the X axis. The second chart requires the same action. Find previously created metrics: Entered Checkout to Product Views and Transactions to Entered Checkout and replace the current ones, and change dimension “Date (Date)” to “Date”. If metric colours on the chart do not match the colors from the Funnel Metrics chart, change the order by dragging the fields in the control panel on the right metrics. Similarly, change the metric format to percent by clicking on AUT button near metric’s name.

- Map - changing the country. Select chart and scroll down on the control panel until you see “Filter” section. Click on the pencil icon and insert country of your choosing. Rename filter to avoid confusion in the future and hit SAVE. If you prefer having a global overview without specific focus on one country you can just remove the filter altogether.

That’s it! You’re all done.
