This week we learned about:

- modeling 1 more and 1 less when counting from 1-10
- organizing, counting, and writing the number for a collection of objects to 10
Literacy: - identifying beginning sounds in words
- counting syllables in words
- learning the names, sounds, and formation for letters p and j
- reviewing letter names, sounds, and formation for all previously taught letters (t, b, f, n, m, i, u, c, o, a, g, d, s, e, r)
- labeling pictures in a story
Social Emotional Learning (SEL): - Second Step-Bullying Unit: Recognizing Bullying
Science - positional words and ways objects move

Announcements and Reminders:
- We are a nut-aware school. Due to the severity of some students’ allergies, we are asking that you be mindful of this when you are bringing food into our school. We need your cooperation to maintain a safe environment for all by avoiding nuts and nut products at IC Imagine
- Students need a bag with a change of clothes (full uniform, underwear, socks)
that stays in their backpack at all times.
- Be sure to download the IC Imagine app and login to Rooms to get up to date notifications/messages.
