Skid Cities is a cyberpunk city builder. Build incredibly high skyscrapers, face rogue androids, revolts, huge corporations and more. Build your city on top of your city or beneath it, deep underground. Dystopia or utopia, it’s up to you.
It’s a mashup of new and old! Old school-SimCity vibes will make experienced players feel at home. New, challenging mechanics will force you to rethink your assumptions about what a good society is - maybe that criminal-infested bar is not that bad for the city after all?
The year is 2092 and the world is very different from now. You can build your city in the cold lands of the Greenland Autonomous Zone, or the hot and arid plains of the Island of California.

SkidCities has been developed by me, Vittorio “LapsuS” Banfi, as a solo-dev project for about a year. I love city-building games and the cyberpunk genre lore, from Blade Runner to Akira. A big part of the cyberpunk lore is about cities - so I kept thinking: Why isn’t a cyberpunk city builder out there? And here we are!
