My time in the water recount
WALT: recount a personal experience using correct sentence punctuation and sentences which make sense to the reader.

It all started when I was little and at first I used to just jump in the pool from the side. Just little jumps and the pool was small. But then I grew older and my Dad started showing me how to jump higher and higher in the deeper pool. When I got really good at swimming he then taught me how to pop a ‘Manu’ which is just another way of saying do a bomb. Now I do them all the time. | I really love swimming, especially when I go to the Panmure Swimming Pools. First my friends and I decide we are going to meet and then what time. Then I have to ask my Mum if it is ok. She usually says yes but tells us we have to be responsible and not run around the pool. | Being in the water makes me really tired. I love playing with my friends and swimming. I really love that it is hot because that means I can swim more. |
