The app looks like this:

Clever is a Single Sign-On Service (SSO). It is recommended that you use Clever to sign in to all your district programs. You can access the Clever portal from the main MISD webpage, the Clever Chrome extension on MISD devices, or the direct link clever.com/in/magnoliaisd

1. Select Google Login.
2. Login using your school email address.

This will open up an application dashboard that allows access to all of the digital learning platforms available to students. It will also store all passwords so that you only need to log in once to Clever. There is also a Clever app that can be added to mobile devices for students to access platforms.

Elementary teachers can print out a Clever Badge for students to use to sign into their Chromebook device and Clever.

District Gmail Accounts

From Clever, click on the Gmail app to sign in.

From the district website, students can access Student Self-Serve by clicking Student Portal, or from Clever clicking on Student Self Serve.

STUDENT ACTION REQUIRED 24 hours after registration is completed, new student email should be active. Students will need to log into The Student Self Serve Portal. This is where Students access attendance, grades, and enrollment information.

The login for the Student Self Serve is:

lastname.firstname (email address name before the @)

Password is the same as the district account.

Canvas is our Learning Management System (grades 3-12) where students access their classwork and their “online classroom”. The Canvas icon is located in MISD Classroom Resources in Clever.

MISD Students use their Clever Badge to access Clever then find the Seesaw Application and Sign-In with Google.

Information for Parent Access Below

Parent Self Serve can be accessed from the district website where it says Parent Portal or through Clever.

Parent/Guardian *NEW* users must register to view your student’s information.

To register and be authenticated, you must enter the following required information for one of your children: (Note: All the data entered must match the existing data in the system for your account to be created)

• Parent/guardian legal first name
• Parent/guardian legal last name
• Student Birthdate
• Student legal first name
• Student ID (Student Lunch ID)
• Student legal last name

Your student’s teacher will send out a unique invite code to connect to your student’s Seesaw portfolio. 

Students grades 7-12, GT 3-5 and Advanced students grade 6 have access to document their learning journey, show off their skills and build a bulb Digital Portfolio.
