We are excited to continue Mustang University with Mustang 201: Preparing for What’s Ahead. This is a live webinar on February 17th at 5:30 PM designed to help sophomore families understand how current academic choices, involvement, and summer planning can impact future college options. Our annual Admissions Case Studies (Mock Admissions) Juniors only is on Thursday, February 26th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. 11th-grade students and a parent are invited to participate in a mock admissions evening known as The College Application Case Studies Night. During the Case Study, students and parents will meet in small groups with an experienced admissions officer who will lead a discussion on what colleges look for in an applicant, as well as what every college values. Students will learn first-hand how they will be evaluated, which can help them begin thinking of the qualities and strengths they possess and what they will need to do to prepare for the application process. Space for the Case Study event is limited to 150 11th-grade students and one parent per family; registration is required on Naviance under College Visits.

Donors may look for students who demonstrate financial need, plan to attend a two- or four-year college or trade school, have substantial volunteer experience, intend to pursue a specific major (such as Art, Dance, Business, Education, or Language), excel academically, or meet a variety of other qualifications.
