St. Andrew’s Family Fitness Plus
SWIM TEAM
What we are: We draw from St. Andrew’s proven history as a parks and recreation organization and community center to offer both summer and year round swimming programs.
Our mission is to combine the fun elements of swim team with the lifelong benefits of physical activity and competitive swim skills.
We welcome kids and families that have experience with summer and year round swim teams, and we are especially excited to invite all the kids and families who have not yet experienced a swim team.
What we offer: Designed with busy families in mind that need many options AND flexibility, we offer practices in the afternoon, early evening, and weekends. Swimmers 5-18 years old are welcome to join.
DATES: Ongoing – join at any time. Our team runs 12 months a year with the option to come to practice every day of the week (7x) or even once a week- you can mix it up too! SEE FAQ for more.
CURRENT PRACTICE TIMES: Come as often as you want (with 44 different practice times per month). Occasionally individual practices may be adjusted or canceled (due to pool or staff constraints), but we will maintain a schedule with at least 20 practices per month.
- Tues, Thurs, Friday 4pm
- Mon, Wed, Thurs 5:30pm OR 6:15pm (advanced/older kids encouraged to attend later practice)
- Saturdays at 12pm
- Sundays at 2:30pm
- NO PRACTICE on competition or event dates
COMPETITION: We competed as part of the Coastal Carolina Aquatic Association (CCAA) from May 22 to July 6 and had a great first year. This fall we plan to host intrasquad meets for all swimmers to have the best swimming experience. We are also working with area teams to set up fun competitions.

COSTS: The team is set up for lowest prices for those that do monthly draft and are Family Fitness members OR PSD residents - just $35 a month. You can also choose to pay manually each month!

*Member OR PSD resident-To get the discounted price (blue column) you MUST have a Family membership to Family Fitness Plus (FFP) OR live in St Andrews PSD. There is a special price for the whole family membership to Family Fitness Plus (FFP) for families of a team swimmer- just $54.99 total (parents and siblings included)!
