Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies to all WiGDK spaces, including but not limited to:

• In-person events
• Online events and discussions
• Social media and community platforms
• Internal collaboration between board members, volunteers, and organizers

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behavior is not tolerated in any WiG space:

• Harassment, discrimination, or exclusion based on gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, religion, or background
• Dismissive, belittling, or patronizing language or behavior
• Unwanted sexual attention, comments, or advances
• Aggressive, hostile, or intimidating communication

Some of our events are intentionally designed for specific demographics, directly supporting our core purpose.

Accountability

People violating this Code of Conduct may be sanctioned or banned where possible, depending on the severity and context of the behavior. All cases are handled at the discretion of the WiG board.

Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact any WiG board member. All reports will be treated confidentially and with care.

Shared Responsibility

Creating a safe and inclusive community is a collective effort. We encourage everyone to act with integrity and speak up when something feels wrong.
