Re:                Annual Dues

Annual Dues

The Board of Directors at its Annual Meeting in October held the 2021 dues rate the same as in 2020. However, the Board did set the minimum dues level at $500.

So, the 2021 dues are $.40 per $1,000 net outstanding Consumer Loans, Unregulated Loans, and Industrial Loans, as of December 31, 2020. The maximum dues were set at $10,000 per company, and the minimum dues set at $500 per company.

Members owning or controlling more than one office in Kentucky may certify year end outstanding receivables for each office separately, or submit a total for all offices, and provide a list of each office and the address on the enclosed form.

Contributions or gifts to the Kentucky Consumer Finance Association are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes.  However, they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses subject to restrictions imposed as a result of association lobbying activities. The Kentucky Consumer Finance Association estimates that the nondeductible portion of 2020 dues---the portion which is allocable to lobbying---will be 27%.
