Where do I drop off and pick up my dancer?

Parents/Guardians should escort their dancer to the 4th floor (via the elevator) and drop off their dancer at the Studio 4 door. The parent/guardian must then exit the building immediately. Pick up follows the same process. Please do not arrive for drop off and pick up more than 15 minutes prior to the start or ending time for the Camp.

Do I need a physical to attend a summer intensive?

A completed physical or physician’s note from within the last 12 months is required and should be completed before a dancer begins the camp. If you have a completed physical examination for your dancer from within the last calendar year, you can substitute it in place of the Doctor’s note. The letter must simply state that the dancer is healthy and physically able to participate in the summer program. This letter must be submitted at the time of registration. A complete physical is not necessary, a simple doctor’s note will suffice.

Who will be supervising my dancer at the studio?

During the dance camp, the teacher, musician, and teaching assistant will be in the studio to monitor your dancer. Dancers are never permitted out of the studio without the direct supervision of a teacher or teaching assistant. The Artistic Director and Program Coordinator are also on-site for additional supervision and assistance.

Please note that Joffrey Ballet School policies, protocol and procedures are subject to change.
