Gaming magazine

Upon research, focus groups, feedback and a brief overview the idea i have gone to publish will be the gaming one. This is based on a detailed SWOT analysis of each idea to gain further knowledge on the aspects I oat to consider when producing an idea.

Achievable aims

 access to resources such as cameras, studios, and transport will be highly necessary. And are achievable. I must set goals and monitor progress so that I don't fall behind, as this could lead to fines, and ethical issues.

Location

Locations will vary as the colleges studio will be used to take high quality images, editing room to filter and enhance images as well as outside of college premises where i’d have to book and take out a camera for the purpose of engaging with more suitable areas where images may be taken.

Time Frame considerations

Between the (XX,XX,XX) and (XX,XX,XX) i must have completed taking images that relate to my magazine. From their i will have a further two weeks to edit, enhance, design and create my front cover and bring all the elements together. With a week to spare i will add text and typography as well a promotions and titles to the magazine were it suits the relevant colour scheme and overall layout of the magazine. With in the month i hope to have completed and published my magazine.

Organisation required 

The level of organisation required to achieve the most applaudable product will be intense. I must initiate and order tasks in order of importance. Files must be created to store paperwork so that my work goes undisturbed and also to avoid the loss of work. I must plan ahead of time and create self made deadlines which sit comfortably with those given by my teacher.

Availability of equipment / space

In order to ensure i secure spaces in the studio i must arrange booking times in advance of at least 2 weeks beforehand. Once i have arrived at the studio in the time permitted, i can move and remove unwanted props and furniture allowing me to appropriately create space for the purpose to take images.

Regulatory body

My E-magazine will go through and be inspected by the (IPSO) independent press standards, chaired by Sir Alan Moses. If my E-magazine is deemed not fit for the public or may include distressing and or harmful content it may be disapproved. Which will the result in my product being open to an investigation. Furthermore, complaints are handled by an affairs officer from (IPSO). Complying with legal ethics may be difficult however all legal requirements are and will be met to the highest standard to avoid or open my department to an investigation. Code one from the (IPSO) states “The Press must take care not to publish inaccurate, misleading or distorted information or images. Meaning i must personally approve all changes to my E-magazines until im able to recruit a professional editor and cameraman. In order to ensure my magazine isn’t liable for outstanding breach to the code of conduct or necessary ruling i will plan ahead, constantly read over and make personal judgements on whether i believe my product has the green light to be published.
