Google Workspace Storage Quotas

Google has announced the end of unlimited storage for Google Workspace. In response, DIT is implementing a new tiered storage model to help manage usage and associated costs.

As part of this change, Google Drive storage will now be capped. Please review the storage guidelines below:

Students Quotas

• Student accounts will be assigned a storage quota of 25GB.
• Current students whose usage currently exceeds the 25GB limit will receive a one-time adjustment, rounded up to the next multiple of 10GB (e.g., a student using 27GB will be allotted 30GB).
  *Note that storage quotas are subject to change.

Faculty and Staff Quotas

Faculty and staff accounts will be allocated 50GB of storage. Further  details will be provided at a later date.

Additional Storage Requirements/Requests - Faculty and Staff Only

Information on how to purchase additional storage for faculty and staff only will be shared at a later date.
