School District of Solon Springs Driver Education

Safety and Respect Driving School is currently accepting Driver Education registrations for students in the School District of Solon Springs for the 2020-21 Academic year.
The course includes:
Online Classroom – students will participate in the state approved online course at their own convenience.
**Students can earn an academic credit when the online classroom is completed.
Behind-the-Wheel – students will participate in a 12-hour (6-driving, 6-observing) course
This Online Classroom session fulfills the state required 30 classroom hours. Per Safety & Respect guidelines, students will have 12 months to complete the online course. Students may take the online classroom portion of Driver Education as early as 14 and 7 months of age. We recommend taking the online classroom portion between the age of 15 and 15.6 years of age.
To obtain the academic credit, the following must be submitted to a Solon Springs Administrative team member.
A “screen shot” of the final page of the online program, showing they are 100% completed.
Print a receipt of payment history found at www.safetyandrespect.com “Student Account”.
Instruction Permit: Once a student is 15 1/2, he/she may begin the Behind the Wheel portion of Driver Education provided the student has completed or is currently completing the online classroom portion of Driver Education, has passed the written Instruction Permit exam, has a valid Instruction Permit from the DMV, and tuition is paid in full. Tuition must be paid in full to receive the signed MV3001 form. Behind the Wheel times are posted on the Safety and Respect website when you log in with your username and password.
The fee for Driver Education is $350.00. This fee includes 30 hours of classroom and twelve hours of In- Car instruction (six driving hours and six observation hours). Any fees due to the DMV/DOT are the student’s responsibility.

The user friendly website will walk you through the enrollment and payment process. Or if you need more information email: email@example.com. All students must print out the Registration Contract located under the Resources tab in the navigation tab of our website. Both the parent/legal guardian and student will need to sign the contract to give us permission to provide Driver Education to your teen. The contract must be returned (by mail or electronically) to Safety and Respect prior to receiving access to the online class.
Safety and Respect Driving School is a private commercial driving school. All students enrolled in the program must follow the guidelines established by the State of Wisconsin for commercial driving schools.
