Welcome Gibbs and Ottoson Famlies!
The Gibbs-Ottoson Parent Teacher Organization (GO PTO) supports Arlington's two middle schools with things like: staff appreciation events, providing classroom supply stipends for teachers, mini-grants for student needs identified by faculty and staff, and scholarship funding for school-sponsored items like yearbooks, field trips, school merchandise etc.
All parents and caregivers of current Gibbs and Ottoson students are invited and encouraged to participate, be it attending our meetings, fulfilling sporadic volunteer needs, or even taking on a board position. Note also that there will be significant Board turnover after this year, so tuning in now to what we do is a great way to see if there might be something you’d be interested to shadow this year to take on next year.
How Can You Get Involved With GO PTO?

*1st PTO meeting of the year will be held Tuesday Sept 27th, 7-8pm @ Gibbs Media Center
