This club is for those who want to do good for the community using their art talents!  This year we will be creating little works of art to sell.  All money will go to a charity voted on by the club.

Try to attend meetings but not required to attend all. This is a great opportunity to give of your time and talents!!!

If you are a book lover, this is the club for you! We read, have snacks, and share ideas about books. Find out what your peers are reading, and hear their recommendations about good books and authors. Drop in occasionally or stay all year!

Chess Club

Whether you are a beginner or if you have played for years, Chess Club is a place where you can have fun, learn, and strategize with one of the world's oldest strategy games.  The Chess Club will meet once or twice a month starting in September.  This club is free to join and we have an open attendance policy which means you can come once, twice, or every meeting depending on your schedule.  If you want to bring your own board from home that is allowed, however, I do have plenty of boards in my classroom for you to borrow.  Please do not bring any other games to Chess Club, we focus only on Chess!  We will meet in room C131 from 3:00 to around 3:30.  Watch the newsbeat for specific dates after Labor Day weekend.

This is an opportunity to help promote understanding and inclusion for your peers and all Beadle students! Attendance of Club meetings are required. This club is for any student interested in participating in the Millard West IT Innovation Mid-Cup. Come to the first meeting for more information.The first meeting will be from 3:00 to 3:45 on September 15.  

Craft Club

Craft Club is the place for anyone who would like to develop their creativity by making crafts.  Do you like to decorate everyday objects with ribbon, buttons, rhinestones or paint?  Do you like to construct things out of scrapbook paper, or felt?  Are you constantly on Pinterest looking for ideas of things to create?  Would you like to learn how?  In Craft Club we will make 4 make and take projects throughout the year. There is a fee that will go toward the cost of purchasing materials that the club members will use throughout the year.

The Cross Country Club welcomes everyone! Have fun while learning a new sport, proper training techniques, and how to set goals. This is a great way to explore this as a possible sport for high school. See more details in the athletic pages.

Come join Future Educators club if you are interested in being a teacher. This is a club where you will teach lessons, learn how to teach and what planning goes into teaching. We are looking forward to a great year with great teachers!

The eSports Club will have a fall and spring competition season. The competition team is limited to 24 students.  Practices will be Monday before school and Monday after school. We will be competing with other Millard middle schools. If more than 24 students are interested, there will also be open dates for social gaming.

FCS Club

You will meet once a month after school to make a recipe or craft project. If you like to spend time with friends while you learn to cook or sew, then you will want to join the FCS Club!

HULK Club 2.0

HULK Club is designed to be an inclusive after-school club for students with and without disabilities. This club brings together students, regardless of their abilities, to participate in activities and events together. Students will be able to take a leadership role in planning the activities and events for the club, as well as being leaders every day at Beadle by promoting the acceptance of their peers with and without disabilities.

Members of the club will also have the opportunity to plan and implement the Disability Awareness Day at Beadle in the Spring.

Math Counts is a competition club for math.  All students are welcome to attend, but only the top students as determined by the school competition can attend the citywide competition.

Is PE your favorite time of the day? Do you like to play active games with your friends? Do you love being part of a team?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, then PE 2.0 is the club for you! This club is all about having fun while participating in a variety of physical activities. We do everything from using the fitness center, playing flag football and kickball to four square and life size Hungry Hippos. Come check us out!

Stockmarket Club

The Stock Market Game program introduces students to real-world investing while learning academic concepts that relate to their entire core curriculum. Students (grades 4-12) buy into the entire process through 15 weeks of active involvement. Students work in teams to grow their $100,000 virtual cash account into a top-performing portfolio while developing strong interests in the daily events that shape our world. Students compete against other teams in their age groups across Nebraska.  The fall competition is from Sept. 9th-Dec. 12th.

Do you want to be a leader at BMS?  Do you want to help promote school activities?  Do you want to help make decisions about the future of Beadle?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Student Council is the club for you!  The Beadle Student Council is open to all students.  We will meet monthly to plan events and activities.  Some examples include dances, assemblies, community service projects, and many more!

This is a leadership group open to all 7th graders. Students apply and are chosen by teachers to represent Beadle Middle School during elementary visits in the spring, Jump Start in May (when 5th graders visit BMS), Orientation in August, and as mentors during 1st Hexter Bulldog Block of their 8th grade year.

Chamber Orchestra

In Jazz Band you will be given the opportunity to perform a variety of music, primarily jazz. Students currently enrolled in band or orchestra may audition for Jazz Band at the beginning of the new school year. Jazz Band performs numerous concerts and special engagements throughout the year. Rehearsals are on Monday mornings from 7:40-8:10 and Thursday mornings from 7:05-7:35. See Mrs. Lindquist if you are interested in being a member of the Jazz Band.

Beadle’s Musical is a large group performance filled with acting, singing, dancing and fun!  It is performed on the stage at Millard West, complete with costumes, lights, sound and plenty of theater magic.  The musical for 2022-2023 will be Beauty and the Beast.  Auditions will be in the winter and are open to 6th - 8th grade students who are involved in a musical ensemble.  Rehearsals will be after school second semester and the performances will be in the spring. Show Choir

Beadle has 2 competitive show choirs. The Show Dogs - directed by Mr. Engstrom, and Encore - directed by Mrs. Whisinnand. Both groups compete at 4-5 competitions each school year. Rehearsals are before and after school 2-3 days a week. Auditions are held in May for the following school year. Contact either director for more information.

Revolution

This small auditioned vocal ensemble meets throughout the school year focuses on Acapella singing. This group will sing at various sporting events and school concerts.

Wind Ensemble

This is a select concert band composed of 6th-8th grade band students. Auditions will be held in December. All band students are encouraged to audition for this group. This ensemble meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:05-7:35 during second semester. This group performs at our March concert and frequently performs at area concert band contests.
