K1USN SST Using 3830.scores.com
Thanks to Bruce WA7BNM you can upload results to the 3830scores.com website. The procedure is simple.
The data entered into 3830 comes from the Score Summary window in N1MM Logger+
The N1MM Logger+ Score window looks like this:
This window shows QSO’s, Points (Pts), States/Provinces (S/P), DXCC countries (DXc) and Points per QSO.
The Points (Pt/Q) is an interesting statistic but isn’t required for 3830 submission.
Opening 3830.scores.com will show this on the left side of the window:
After clicking on K1USN Slow Speed Test this window will appear: The data fields will be empty and you will enter your information from the contest. In this example the fields have been filled in with data from N1DC. Enter the total QSOs for each band along with total multipliers. In the example N1DC had 32 QSO’s and 18 Mults on 40M, 22 QSO’s and 15 Mults on 20M. This data comes from the N1MM logger + Score Window. Remember Multipliers are the total of States + Provinces + DXCC Countries. If you want an email summary of your submission enter your email address in the window and check the send copy box. If you are a member of a Club, select the club name from the drop down. If your club is not listed, you can enter it by selecting Other and typing the club name in the box. You can add comments about your experience in the Comments window. If you make a mistake on the form you can go back and correct it or clear the entire form and start over. You can also make a correction after submitting it by filling it out again and clicking the Correct Previous Submission button. It’s best to fill out this form immediately after the contest. There is a time limit (2 days) beyond which the submittal form will be removed. After filling out this form click the Submit Score to 3830 Reflector button at the bottom. Your submission will be added to the list of participants and included in the summary. To view the event summary click on the K1USN Slow Speed Test (with a date) link under Summaries of Current Contests at the top of 3830.scores.com | ||
The Summary looks like what’s shown below (this is a partial listing). There are many nice features in this website. At the top right side of 3830.scores.com you can enter your own callsign (or any callsign (or any other) and look at historical submissions. It’s interesting to look back at previous contests. You can sort the Summary by Class/Power, Your Location or your Club name.
