Happy Friday! I hope that this message finds you doing well, that you enjoyed the warmer days we had, and that you had a great first week back from April Vacation! I wanted to re-share the link to the SPS School Calendar for 2024/25 for your reference - 2024/25 SPS Academic Calendar. We had an exciting week at the Dawe as we continued our celebration of Autism Acceptance Month, continued with our MCAS Testing Season as our 4th Graders took their ELA test sessions, we celebrated our amazing Mrs. Gibb during Administrative Professionals Appreciation Day on Wednesday, our staff experienced a presentation from our TLC Staff (Topic: ABA Instruction and Therapy) and our Curriculum Team (Topic: Implementation of the Coaching Model) during our Staff Meeting, and we ended our week with Popcorn Friday & Spirit Day! IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• Please send your child(ren) to school with a snack each day
• Every Friday will be a “Spirit Day” at the Dawe - students and teachers are invited to wear New England Sports Gear, Dawe Dragon Gear, Black & Orange for Stoughton Pride, Crocs with Socks, or anything else they would love to wear to show school spirit!
• If possible, please send your child(ren) to school with a reusable water bottle that can be filled throughout the day using our filtered water dispensers
• If you think that you may be interested in volunteering this year (field trips, events, mystery reader, etc.), please be sure to fill out and return CORI forms and complete your fingerprinting as early in the year as possible
• If you are bringing your child(ren) to school late (after 8:35 am), you must accompany them in the building to sign them in
• If your child(ren) is going to be absent from school, please be sure to contact the main office and/or clinic
• If you need assistance getting a backpack, please do not hesitate to reach out as we have many in the school that have been generously donated to us 
• If you need to dismiss your child(ren) prior to the end of the school day, please be sure to email/inform their classroom teacher so that the information can be shared with our main office as soon as possible
