RULES OF THE “Wingman Plushie Giveaway”

§1 GENERAL PROVISIONS:

This document (further: “Rules”) describes the terms and conditions of “Wingman Plushie Giveaway” (the “Giveaway”).
Within the Giveaway we invite you (the “Contestant”) to answer to a post from VALORANT Germany and submit the reply as a comment under the giveaway related social media post.
The prize will go to two contestants who reply to said post. They’ll be selected by the Organiser.
The Giveaway is open for participants in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The Giveaway is organized by us, the company Riot Games Services GmbH, with its registered office at Am Studio 20a, 12489 Berlin, Germany (the “Organiser”).

§2 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

You can participate in the Giveaway if:

you are at least 18 years on the day of entering the Giveaway and you have full legal capacity, i.e. you can independently enter into legal transactions, including binding contracts, in accordance with your local law,
You cannot participate in the Giveaway if you are an employee of the Organiser or of its affiliates subsidiaries, manufacturers, sales representatives or advertising agencies; or a member of such employee’s immediate family.

§3 WHEN DOES THE GIVEAWAY TAKE PLACE?

The Giveaway begins on 26.6.2024 11:00 CET and will end on 1.7.2024 23:59 CET (the “Giveaway Period”). You must submit your reply by the end of the Giveaway Period. Any replies submitted outside the Giveaway Period will not be included in the Giveaway.
The winners will be announced on 2.7.2024 through a Direct message on Twitter or Instagram.

§4 HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

In order to participate, like the related post and follow the related social media platforms.
You may provide only one submission containing only one reply.
Submissions provided in any other way do not qualify.
The Organiser reserves the right to reject a Contestant’s submission if it violates the provisions of applicable law, Giveaway rules or if the reply may be considered racist, xenophobic, sexist, defamatory or otherwise offensive, illegal or non-compliant with PEGI 12 requirements.

§5 HOW WILL THE WINNERS BE CHOSEN?

The winner will receive the following: 1x Wingman Plushie
The winner will receive the following prizes only if they provide their Riot ID and email associated with the Riot account, full name and address via DM.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of announcement, the Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

§7 CONTESTANT’S OBLIGATIONS AND DECLARATIONS

By posting the video in accordance with § 4 above, you (as a Contestant) confirm that you fulfill the requirements set out in the Rules.
By submitting your reply, you acknowledge that your Twitter, Instagram and Facebook handle and photo will be used by us for the purposes of the Giveaway. In the event that you win, you will be asked to share your Riot ID and email address associated with that Riot account via DM on 2.7.2024 and to this data being used for distribution of prizes won in the Giveaway only. In line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), Riot shall only retain the personal information (summoner name and email) for 60 days after the completion of the Giveaway under our legitimate interest and for the prizes to be delivered to you.
Riot may post the winning reply and corresponding twitter handles on the Riot Games social media pages. The retention of such posts is governed by Twitter’s privacy policy. This can be accessed at the following link: https://twitter.com/en/privacy

§8 COPYRIGHT

This license covers in particular the following forms of exploitation:

Making the reply available in a manner allowing any person to access the reply in a place and at a time selected by them.
License referred to in § 8 point 1 is granted for an indefinite time.

§9 PERSONAL DATA

(twitter,instagram,youtube or facebook handle and–in case of the winners–summoner name and email address associated with that Riot account, full name and address) will be gathered and processed by the Organiser solely for the purpose of carrying out the Giveaway. Submission of personal data by the Contestant is voluntary,however necessary for participation in the Giveaway.
The Organiser protects the Contestant´s personal data in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection laws, in particular ,the Organiser enables the Contestants to exercise their right to access and correct their personal information.

§10 FINAL PROVISIONS

The Rules will be governed and construed in accordance with German law.
The Rules come into force on 26.6.2024.
Should a situation arise whereby it is impossible for the Giveaway to continue, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the competition without any liability arising from any obligation hereunder.
