Hello,
On June 25th 2026 we are joining advocates across the country for a National Call-In Day to oppose moving oversight and administration of the IDEA/OSERS and the Office for Civil Rights out of the U.S. Department of Education (ED).
Shifting IDEA, OSERS, and the Office for Civil Rights away from ED risks weakening protections and reducing educational opportunity for students with disabilities.
Please call your two U.S. Senators and your U.S. Representative and urge them to tell ED:
Protect children with disabilities and DO NOT MOVE IDEA, vocational rehabilitation, or OCR out of the Education Department.
You can call the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to your Senators and Representative.
