WICKED WASTE!
What is waste? (Paraphrase) | Waste is another word for garbage. Waste is the stuff that is not needed after using the item. |
What do the 3R’s mean? | Reduce: make smaller or less amounts. Reuse: use again or more than once. Recycle: convert waste into reusable objects. |
How/why is excess waste harmful for earth? | Excess waste is bad for the earth because when the rubbish keepers bury the waste it creates poisonous/polluted water. It creates bad water because some water comes from underground, then toxins from the waste leaks down to the freshwater which makes polluted water. Which is bad for our health. |
Where does waste go after it is collected? | It goes to a big junk yard where they figure out if they recycle the waste or put it in the waste pile. After they figure out where the item is supposed to go, the waste goes underground. It goes underground because the toxins create a radioactive area which is very deadly, that’s why they put waste underground. |
