THS GENERAL INFORMATION

  • HOCO Food Truck Friday!  Today - September 26th - several food trucks will be in the back courtyard for students to enjoy during their lunch hour.  Bag games and Jenga will also be available to play.  Bring cash or a credit card to purchase food from the food trucks - which include Dippidy Donuts, Fantastick Pops, Heaterz Hot Chicken, Pig on a Wing, Rollin’ Dogs and Saucee.  Thank you to Brighter Futures for bringing them to THS!
  • A Knight at Gatsby’s - the THS Homecoming Dance - is TOMORROW NIGHT, September 27th from 7-10pm at THS.  Homecoming dance tickets are now available for purchase! Triad student tickets are available online through a link that can be found in your email. All outside guest tickets must be purchased in the office after your guest forms have been turned in. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Neill or Mrs. Maedge.  If you are planning on buying a ticket at the door, please remember that it is CASH ONLY and you must have a STUDENT ID in order to purchase a ticket.
  • Attention all of you that participated in the blood drive! We collected 86 units which can save up to 344 lives! This is outstanding! Be sure to get your gift card for donating. You should have received a text message with your donor number and the impact life website where you go to collect your $20 gift card. If you have trouble with anything, they texted you a phone number you can call to leave a message with your name and information for where to send the gift card. You need to take care of this in the next week or you will miss out on getting the $20 gift card. Do it today so you don't miss out!!!!
  • Boys Basketball open gyms will be on Monday evenings at 5:00 pm until the end of October. Please reach out to Coach Guidry with any questions.
  • If you are driving to school, ALL cars MUST have a parking sticker.  Students without a parking pass will receive a yellow warning sticker on their window!
  • Students can purchase an Extra Curricular Pass in the Main Office.  The pass is $35 - a one time club fee for unlimited clubs!
  • IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL STUDENTS: the Triad Tech department wants you to know that if your Chromebook does not have a case on it, you will not get any service from TSI -- no charging or repair. If you need a new case, there will be a $10 charge.
  • Math Tutoring is available each morning in the THS Library starting at 7:15am.  Stop by and see Mr. Gessford for assistance with your math assignments.
  • TSI is open every hour this school year.  Please stop by Room #229 (upstairs green hallway) if you have an issue with your Chromebook.
  • 2024-2025 THS Yearbook: Yearbooks may be collected from Mrs. Johnson in Room #133. If you are unsure whether you have ordered a yearbook, please contact Mrs. Johnson at carlie.johnson@tcusd2.org.  Please pick up your yearbook from Mrs. Johnson either before or after school - do not interrupt her during class periods.
  • Students MUST have their school ID to purchase food/drink on their Skyward account through the cafeteria checkout.
  • Student Lockers:  Returning students will notice that their locker AND locker combinations are the same as last year.  This is not a mistake.  Students will keep their same locker for all years they attend THS.  Locker assignments for all students can be found on Skyward in their Student Profile.
  • School IDs -  Students get 1 FREE ID for the year; after that, a replacement is $3.00 and can be purchased in the Main Office.  Students also get 2 FREE temp IDs - those are stickers printed at the Security Desk.  After using the 2 FREE temp stickers, they are $1.00 PER DAY!
  • Students, DON’T FORGET you should be parking in your assigned parking spot.  If someone has parked in your parking spot, please report that car to the Main Office. If you are parking without a sticker, you need to park in the X spots in C Lot and sign in at the Security Desk.
  • As a reminder, Knights Closet is available to all students. If you are in need of school supplies, hygiene products, or clothing items, please stop by the Guidance Office, and someone will be happy to accompany you. If there are needed items not available, please let us know, and we may be able to assist. If you have NEW or gently used leggings or hoodies, we are always taking donations. Please remember that clothing will be worn by high schoolers when selecting items to be donated.
  • The THS Daily Bell Schedule for the 2025-2026 school year can be found here.

STUDENT EMAILS

  • Please remember that it is your responsibility to check your student email account EVERY SINGLE DAY.  This will be used to communicate important information.  If you need help accessing your student email, please come to the Main Office for assistance.

THS CAFE INFORMATION

  • 2025-2026 Meal Prices:
                                          THS Breakfast = $1.90                      THS Lunch = $3.35
  • Just a reminder for students who purchase breakfast and/or lunch in the cafeteria…you must have your school ID with you to purchase your meal.
  • During the 2025-26 school year, families who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch will have to pay for school meals. Students whose families are eligible for free or reduced-price breakfast or lunch will be able to access meals at no cost or a discounted rate. Triad families who wish to apply for free or reduced meals must do so through the Skyward Family Access portal.  Once in the portal, click on the “Food Service Application” tile after July 1, 2025.
  • If you have a negative cafeteria balance, you will still be able to get a meal, but you will NOT be able to get a second meal, chips, cookies, drinks, etc. Please be sure to pay your cafeteria balances. You may add money to your student’s lunch account through Skyward or send a check with your student.  Checks should be given to cafeteria staff - the Main Office does not handle food services payments.

DELIVERIES

  • Students: Please be aware that we DO NOT allow any deliveries to be made to the high school, so please do not order from ANY food apps (GRUBHUB, DOORDASH, ETC.)!

PERMIT INFORMATION

  • THS Parking Sticker Sales:  ALL CARS in the parking lot should have a parking sticker on their car.  If you do not have a parking sticker on your car you need to come to the Main Office to get a parking lot form and be sure you have signed your car in at the Security Desk.  Students are NOT ALLOWED to park in the VISITORS section of the parking lot.  If you are parking in an X Spot, the limit for X spot parking is 10 times for the entire school year.  After September 1st, cars parking in the lot without a parking sticker will be marked with a super-sticky, hard-to-remove yellow warning sticker and the driver will be called to the Main Office to speak with an administrator regarding disciplinary actions.
  • All technology fees and any past/transfer fees noted in Skyward must be paid in full before a parking sticker can be purchased.
  • Payment for parking stickers can only be made in the Main Office - there is not an option to pay for a parking sticker on Skyward.  Payments can be made by cash, check (made payable to Triad High School) or credit card.  Please note that credit card purchases will incur a small processing fee.
  • A parking sticker will only be sold to students who have a completed parking form (available in the THS Main Office) and a valid driver’s license (which must be shown at time of purchase).  Please note that the parking form includes sections that must be completed by both the THS student and a parent/guardian.
  • Work Permits - If you need a work permit, you may stop by the Main Office and pick up an application or access/print it here.  All applications must be accompanied by written proof of intent to hire - an email from the hiring manager or a letter on employer letterhead are acceptable forms of documentation.
