STUDENT SERVICES INFORMATION

If you have questions about your school schedule or would like to know more about college or scholarships, go to the Student Services Office located in the lower GREEN hallway.  One of our counselors will be happy to help you!

  • The latest edition of the Student Services Newsletter can be viewed here.
  • Information about THS/SWIC/SLU Dual Credit Classes and AP Class Offerings can be found here.

THS GENERAL INFORMATION

  • THS 12 Days of Christmas:  Monday is “Happy Hanukkah!”  Wear blue, white and silver..  Click here for the full calendar of events.
  • Triad Trap Team will be doing Spring League sign up on January 11th at the Edwardsville Gun Club from 12-3pm.  We encourage everyone to please get there early for sign up as Spring is definitely our fuller roster of students (and we will have a maximum capacity of 42 participants).
  • Students who qualified for this year's Saturday Scholars Program should have received their invite via a formal letter with information from their Study Hall teacher.  Please note that if you would like to participate this season, your paperwork and fees must be turned in to the Main Office by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16th.  Thank you!
  • The Brad Smith Memorial Volleyball Tournament is quickly approaching! The tournament will be held on January 22nd at 6:00pm here at THS. If you are interested in creating a team, registration forms are available in the Main Office and outside of Mrs. Neill’s room (#135). All forms and fees are due to Mrs. Neill by January 16th.
  • NHS Study Tables are available every day this week in the THS Library to help you prepare for Finals Week.  Stop by in the morning from 7:15-7:45am or after school from 2:10-2:40pm for help with any subject or just to have a quiet study area to prepare for final exams.
  • ATTENTION DRIVERS:  If you exit the school from the exit located by the baseball field, it is a RIGHT TURN ONLY exit. Please do not make a left turn as you exit from that location. Also, be patient, take your time, and please DO NOT pull out in front of the buses.
  • Attention Students: Don't throw away your broken Christmas lights in the trash! Bring them to Triad for the Recycling Club to recycle them! Place your broken, string lights that don't work anymore into the Christmas light bin on the recycle cart in the main hallway by the cafeteria. Thank you so much for recycling!!!
  • If you are driving to school, ALL cars MUST have a parking sticker.  Students without a parking pass will receive a yellow warning sticker on their window!
  • Students can purchase an Extra Curricular Pass in the Main Office.  The pass is $35 - a one-time club fee for unlimited clubs!
  • IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL STUDENTS: The Triad Tech department wants you to know that if your Chromebook does not have a case on it, you will not get any service from TSI -- no charging or repair. If you need a new case, there will be a $10 charge.
  • Math Tutoring is available each morning in the THS Library starting at 7:15am.  Stop by and see Mr. Gessford for assistance with your math assignments.
  • TSI is open every hour this school year.  Please stop by Room #229 (upstairs green hallway) if you have an issue with your Chromebook.  Remember, you must have the case on your device to receive service from TSI!
  • 2024-2025 THS Yearbook: Yearbooks may be collected from Mrs. Johnson in Room #133. If you are unsure whether you have ordered a yearbook, please contact Mrs. Johnson at carlie.johnson@tcusd2.org.  Please pick up your yearbook from Mrs. Johnson either before or after school - do not interrupt her during class periods.
  • Students MUST have their school ID to purchase food/drink on their Skyward account through the cafeteria checkout.
  • Student Lockers: Returning students will notice that their lockers AND their locker combinations are the same as last year.  This is not a mistake.  Students will keep their same locker for all years they attend THS.  Locker assignments for all students can be found on Skyward in their Student Profile.
  • School IDs -  Students get 1 FREE REPLACEMENT ID for the year; after that, additional replacements are $3.00 and can be purchased in the Main Office.  Students also get 2 FREE temp IDs - those are stickers printed at the Security Desk.  After using the 2 FREE temp stickers, they are $1.00 PER DAY!
  • Students, DON’T FORGET you should be parking in your assigned parking spot.  If someone has parked in your parking spot, please report that car to the Main Office. If you are parking without a sticker, you need to park in the X spots in C Lot and sign in at the Security Desk.
  • As a reminder, Knights Closet is available to all students. If you need school supplies, hygiene products, or clothing, please stop by the Guidance Office; someone will be happy to accompany you. If any needed items are unavailable, please let us know, and we can assist. If you have NEW or gently used leggings or hoodies, we are always taking donations. Please remember that high schoolers will be wearing clothing when selecting items to donate.

THS CAFE INFORMATION

  • 2025-2026 Meal Prices:
                                          THS Breakfast = $1.90                      THS Lunch = $3.35
  • Just a reminder for students who purchase breakfast and/or lunch in the cafeteria…you must have your school ID with you to purchase your meal.
  • During the 2025-26 school year, families who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch will have to pay for school meals. Students whose families are eligible for free or reduced-price breakfast or lunch will be able to access meals at no cost or a discounted rate. Triad families who wish to apply for free or reduced meals must do so through the Skyward Family Access portal.  Once in the portal, click on the “Food Service Application” tile after July 1, 2025.
  • If you have a negative cafeteria balance, you will still be able to get a meal, but you will NOT be able to get a second meal, chips, cookies, drinks, etc. Please be sure to pay your cafeteria balances. At some point, after multiple notifications to parents/guardians, the negative balance may initiate collections with an outside collections agency.  You may add money to your student’s lunch account through Skyward or send a check with your student.  Checks should be given to cafeteria staff - the Main Office does not handle food services payments.

DELIVERIES

  • Students: Please be aware that we DO NOT allow any deliveries to be made to the high school, so please do not order from ANY food apps (GRUBHUB, DOORDASH, ETC.)!

PERMIT INFORMATION

  • THS Parking Sticker Sales:  ALL CARS in the parking lot should have a parking sticker on their car.  If you do not have a parking sticker on your car you need to come to the Main Office to get a parking lot form and be sure you have signed your car in at the Security Desk.  Students are NOT ALLOWED to park in the VISITORS section of the parking lot.  If you are parking in an X Spot, the limit for X spot parking is 10 times for the entire school year.  After September 1st, cars parking in the lot without a parking sticker will be marked with a super-sticky, hard-to-remove yellow warning sticker and the driver will be called to the Main Office to speak with an administrator regarding disciplinary actions.
  • All technology fees and any past/transfer fees noted in Skyward must be paid in full before a parking sticker can be purchased.
  • Payment for parking stickers can only be made in the Main Office - there is not an option to pay for a parking sticker on Skyward.  Payments can be made by cash, check (made payable to Triad High School), or credit card.  Please note that credit card purchases will incur a small processing fee.
  • A parking sticker will only be sold to students who have completed a parking form (available in the THS Main Office) and a valid driver’s license (which must be shown at the time of purchase).  Please note that the parking form includes sections that must be completed by both the THS student and a parent/guardian.
  • Work Permits - If you need a work permit, you may stop by the Main Office and pick up an application or access/print it here.  All applications must be accompanied by written proof of intent to hire - an email from the hiring manager or a letter on employer letterhead as an acceptable form of documentation.
