Nebraska Christian Classical Academy (NCCA)
What is NCCA?
Nebraska Christian Classical Academy is a hybrid homeschool partnership falling under the umbrella of Nebraska Christian Schools. We will provide a classical core curriculum and the teaching for that curriculum for two days per week. This will create a foundation so that your homeschool experience can thrive and you can balance homeschool with the rest of your life. Our prayer is to empower parents to disciple their children with a robust education helping them to become the virtuous, godly young men and women that God created them to be.
What grades are supported with NCCA?
Registration is open for Kindergarten through 8th grade for the 2023-24 school year at this time.
Will NC offer financial aid for NCCA?
Neither the NC Support Grant nor additional financial aid is available to NCCA students/families at this time. We are introducing a matching church partnership scholarship alongside NCCA. If you would like to recommend this for your church, please contact thekrdle@nebraskachristian.org to learn more.

Transportation is not provided.
Is there a multi-child discount?
A multi-child discount is not available for NCCA students at this time.

Will there be a dress code/uniform?
In the realm of education, the adoption of uniforms has long been a topic of debate. However, when considering Christian classical education philosophies, uniforms play a unique role in fostering an environment that keeps the focus on Christ rather than individualized students. By emphasizing unity, discipline, and humility, uniforms can serve as a powerful tool in promoting the values and principles of classical Christian education. What days of the week would be ‘in session’ and where are you located ?
We will be meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays at GI Free (Grand Island Free Church).
Who is Nebraska Christian Schools?
Nebraska Christian Schools is a fully accredited school located near Central City, NE. In the fall of 2022, seeing that a homeschool partnership could be a great extension of the vision and mission of the school, the board approved the addition of Nebraska Christian Classical Academy (NCCA).
Who is the governing board?
The Nebraska Christian Schools board of education is the governing body for Nebraska Christian Classical Academy. The authority is delegated by the board of education to the head of schools and accompanying school leadership.
What is the cost for NCCA?
Nebraska Christian Schools is a non-profit entity. Because we are able to share some systems and leadership with the flagship school in Central City, we are able to offer a lower rate than market rate when compared to others offering similar models around the state of Nebraska. We hope to develop greater community and church partnerships throughout Grand Island so that we might be able to offer tuition assistance for those in need in the future.
