2022-2023 FTCSC School Reopening Plan

General Information | FTCSC has created this updated 2022-2023 plan based on available information. Mandates from a governmental agency could cause the plan to change. |
Masks/Face Coverings | - Students, staff members, and community members are not required to wear masks or facial coverings unless directed by the Marion County Department of Health.
- Students, staff members, and community members may voluntarily wear masks or facial coverings if they choose.

Symptom Screenings | - FTCSC Families are expected to screen their children and keep them home if they are ill.
- Students and staff should stay home if they have a fever of 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit, vomiting, diarrhea, undetermined/untreated rach, eye discharge and redness, untreated head lice, or other known signs of sickness.
- Staff members with questions regarding COVID should email covid@ftcsc.org.

Clinics | - Students exhibiting symptoms will be kept in the clinic until pick up.

Water Bottles | - Water Bottle filling stations will remain in place.
|
Handwashing | - FTCSC encourages students and staff to wash their hands regularly.
- Hand sanitizer will continue to be available in classrooms and common areas.

COVID-19 | - Being vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.

Cleaning and Disinfecting | - Desks and hard surfaces will be disinfected regularly.
- Teachers and staff will continue to use sanitizer and cleaning products as needed throughout the school day.
- School HVAC systems meet all filtration and fresh air requirements..

Physical Distancing | - Classroom and other gathering areas should stay as socially distant as possible. The recommendation is 3 feet when possible.

School Bus | - Students and staff members are not required to wear masks or facial coverings unless required by the Marion County Department of Health or other government agency.
- School buses will continue to be cleaned and disinfected before each route.
- Students will be spaced out as much as possible.
