Hospitality Team 101

Thank you for joining the Hospitality Team for the Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend.

When you arrive at ARC for your shift…..Stop by the Volunteer Check In booth inside the ARC doors, in the lobby to sign in, complete your health screening, and get your official Team shirt and drawstring backpack.

We host a hospitality room at ARC for vendors and volunteers (right outside the expo gym, multi-purpose room #1). There will be delicious food, coffee, and tea from Harvest Market, Jimmy John’s, and Columbia Street Roastery. This is actually where your volunteer job takes place!

Responsibilities

Thursday and Friday the main role of the hospitality room is to feed the expo volunteers and those who have booths at the expo.

Mostly folks will drop in to grab a snack, drink, and coffee. Some will stay for a moment and visit.

Volunteers will help re-stock all the items in the Hospitality Room and help serve the guests.

Notes for volunteers

1. There is plenty of parking within a couple of blocks of the ARC. See the parking map at our website (paste the link below into a browser window): https://illinoismarathon.com/parking/
   
2. Wear your volunteer shirt for your shift.
   
3. When working with food, your hands need to be clean and you will wear gloves.
