The team lead role

If you dream of the cosy moments in the Ängsbacka cafe, and want to hold the responsibility of it running smoothly for everyone to enjoy, then please consider this role. It is desired that you have managing or coordinating experience, as well as cafe or hospitality experience.

Our intention is to expand our cafe into the next level. We are looking for someone who is drawn to entrepreneurship and who has a business mindset, as well as a love for getting people together in a social setting.

The café currently serves predominantly as three things,1) a place to connect with other Ängsbackians and 2) as the living room of the Ängsbacka on-site community and 3) as a place to get refreshments for festival goers. The café can be so much more than this. The café can function as a gateway into Ängsbacka for people that have never visited, who are curious about what Ängsbacka is. The café could be a completely stand alone café that could draw people from the nearby villages and function as a profit driver for the entire Ängsbacka organisation. Sky is the limit of what the Ängsbacka café can become. We want someone who dares to dream and has the passion and competence to make it reality - while at the same time keeping the cafe as an integral community oasis for the onsite community.

Period of commitment: (ideal dates - can be negotiated)

• You can begin as early as April 1, 2024.

• You commit to staying at least until September 2025.
• Ideally you want to make the Ängsbacka cafe into your long term project, and you can commit to it full time or intermittently for several years.
